Since i have not updated the thread from last 2 months, just a quick update: both tail lamp and roof are still in an excellent condition. [:D]
Please guide me regarding one question. My key got damaged and the rubber part is ripped in between the buttons. Please look at the pics.
Can i replace it under warranty??? or I have to pay for it???
If i have to pay, do i have to get a whole new key or can i get only the rubber part/cover??? please help me regarding this. [cry]

how many times do you unlock your car? :P that you will have to inquire at hyundai since honda replaces the whole key which turns out to be more expensive.

[lol] i am also thinking that why on earth i did all this. [thinking] and you have scared me a bit after stating about Honda.
If it will be only cover i will get it and if it will be the whole key, its time to swap the present key with the second one.

i am stating from personal experience. even my civic remote broke. asked honda to fix it somehow and have to change everything. so just stuck it with fevistick and using. the remote keys dont work anymore but still atleast people think i am using remote key. :P try and get aftermarket this time. one can find plenty for hondas so maybe you can find something like this for the Verna?

Oh, even i was also thinking to get it fix using fevi quick but as my remote is working fine so i am not going to take any risk. [:D] i have also bought a silicon cover for the key which looks exactly like original key, but after installing it i find it a bit bulky to carry and use. May be other verna owners will be able to help me regarding replacement under warranty. For after market key i have to travel to Chandigarh to search for as in Shimla it is impossible to get one.
I do not know the price for the new key, may be around 5k or more. Just a wild guess. [;)]

I was going to suggest the same, silicone case [:D] just use the other key and get covers for both the keys. I saw silicone cover for 300 rs on ebay. Seems expensive. And I think new key cost 10k-15k.

new key for 10k to 15k??? [surprise] i think the silicon cover will be a good option to continue with as i do not want to spend this amount on a key. But still i will confirm with HASS regarding warranty and changing of rubber part of the key. [cry]

So after following Hyundai for almost 2 months where at first i approached dealership regarding the key replacement but they did not responded even after a month so i contacted their customer care and within a week i got confirmation yesterday that they are ready to replace the keys under warranty and have asked me to bring both the keys.
I am out of my place and will be back after 2 days. Will update the status when i will get the new set of keys. Feeling good now.
