Guys what is the service interval of our grand? My first three free services are over, the last one was at 20K kms in the month of March. I was told that the next service would be at 30k kms. Now the service centre guys are telling me that the next service is due at 30k kms or 6 months from the last service whichever is earlier. Is that true?

Since you have availed all the 3 free services you are not bound by time to bring the car for servicing. It would depend on the kms that it has run. If you car runs 2000kms in 6 months I dont think it needs a service unless something is wrong with the car. Once Im done with the 3 free services (my last one is in oct) I will bring the car at intervals of 9-10k kms unless something needs to be checked/repaired.

I bought the bi xenon projector lamps and 4300k hid kit for rs6000 from aliexpress. Upgrade Full Metal Premium 2.5'' Pro Leader HID BiXenon Projector Headlight Lens Full Kit With/ Without White Angel Eyes Halo-in Lights & Indicators from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

Got it installed from gem cars(not sure of the name) in Lajpat nagar car market near elegant car shop if you're familiar with the area II got the projectors fixed in the stock headlamps. They charged rs2000 to smoke the headlights and install the projectors and hid kit . The projectors and the hid kit for 6k is a very good deal considering the quality of the same. Buying ready made headlights may not be the best option according to me as the pair would cost no less than 25k and you don't get to pick which projectors you want in them and usually it comes without the hid kit. I planned not to get the complete headlight smoked but leave some chrome parts but didn't work out as after the masking tape that was used to cover the parts that I wanted the chrome to remain, was peeled, it peeled some part of the paint as well. Hence had to smoke the whole headlight. Besides that they were good at other pparts of installation. I would suggest to look some other place if you'd want to have chrome on the headlights as well.
The guys who installed also but the dry tubes and Angel eyes if youd want but I think that's overkill as I already have euro stylei10's fitted. 4300k color as they perform better in dusty and foggy conditions as compared to 6000k white light. The throw is really good has improved visibility to quite an extent at night
Hello, just saw your post, your car looks awesome with these projectors! I'm too a proud owner of grand i10. Actually, I'm also planning to upgrade my headlights to projector ones. I'm planning to order it from Aliexpress, but as it is being ordered from outside the country, did you have to pay any customs?? Please reply ASAP!!!

I didnt have to pay customs. I used china post as through it I had free shipping although it took quite long to reach me, about a month but the quality is good. If you buy the one i bought they provide you with HID kit as well in whatever temp you want. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your car with those projectors!

Guys, please help. I own a Grandi10 Petrol. The feel on the acceleration pedal is slightly slippery.
Has anybody experienced this before? I am due for my first year service. What's the first year ( ie <10,000 kms ) service cost I can expect in Bangalore for Grandi10 Petrol ?

No you will have to add an amplifier to make it powerful. All the 4 speakers are the same and the reason for low sound from the rear speakers is the low output from the head unit.
You don't want to change the HU because the steering controls won't work with another HU ( yiu will have to add an expensive part to make them work) and removing and adding a new HU in gand i10 will cause some marks on the dashboard.

Check the sound balance in the settings first. I have always sat behind the steering wheel so dont know about the sound at rear

Also fitted ring shaped LEDs, connected with parking, pretty bright

I have ran into one issue though, the mechanic connected the DRL wire to Fusebox as given in the pic, In our car even after the ignition is off, current flow through that fuse and after 90 secs DRLs switch off (Mistakenly they are like a come home light now). Friends please suggest some other wiring mechanism to correct this.

Mr.Allhyundaicars has rightly told the point that adding an amplifier will boost sound performance, but as a precaution, check the speaker specs before adding amplifier. As generally stock speakers wont have that much capacity to withstand amplifier load.

If going for Amplifier definitely replace speakers for optimum performance, also check whether stock Headunit also has specs to add amplifier.

Thanks for pointing this out. I totally forgot the amp will fry the stock speakers.
