Today I got too many calls from dealers. Why suddenly they started to chase me rather being other way??

Yes may car is in transit and will reach by afternoon to their yard.

Need to do PDI, settle the fund, sign the loan. oh no too many formalities
Once I get my car, I will start new thread on ownership. :)

You should be the best bug to get your car as committed I couldnt get the car as committed by which it was slipped the car for my 5th wedding anniversary All plans was crashed by useless sales manager (not working with this dealer now) fake commitment.

When you booked the car and what was the commitment given by them?

Hyundai will allocate the car before 12th of each month, if your request is not taken on that month, then it next month only. Its sad I know.

Go straight to the sales manager and ask him your position in queue (ensure that you ask for your position for your specific model). Allotment is model specific (HMIL allots specific number in each model based on the dealers marketing) Here for my dealer its max 1 or 2 car per model per month.

thats weird as i remember when i was suppose to get my car i would see a con tainer every alternate day and would find atleast four vernas
when i was pressurizing my dealer and checking their system for my order i saw they placed my order on a 16th and on 19th my car was built and a 25th was despatched

32 is recommended for mine but i keep 30 as yokohama guy advised
sandy where in mumbai you located?
the bulbs do not need relays as they are an oem replacement bulb 55/60 but with better throw and illumination
havent done night driving these days if i do ill click a pic of the headlights illumination

Wow thats great. I think when you replace the stock bulbs by 90/100 philips, you have to change the relays because such high rating draws a lot of heat and consumption of battery. Also IMO it is illegal in india to have such high rated bulbs.

I am surely going to replace my stock bulbs with 55/60 Philips Xtreme vision as you have done. Thanks for sharing.

i45 urf hyundai Sonata 2012 is coming in india. Man I love this car. If i have verna this should be my dad's car.

ya we have that problem. got it done few days back at service center. nick knows in detail what they do.. ... some lubrication and torque adjustment. but it do not solve the problem 100%

How much air pressure do you guys keep in your tires?
i was keeping 34 in all tires , today that tire guy did 35 in front and 40 in rear tires. is it excessive?

As per the brochure, the recommanded tyre pressure is 32 in all four. For highway driving i keep 33 in front and 34 in rear which is more suitable and fuel efficient IMO. 40 in the rear tyre is too excessive which results in more bouncy ride when minimum 2 are boarded in rear seat.

when i changed over to yokos i found the car bouncy and braking wasnt giving much feel later that week i checked the air it was at 40 so i shifted to 30 on all tires.
i got my stuff added at vashi i think thats out of the way from your place there are good shops at opera house and i have heard at tardeo to. but incase you prefer vashi then its a sector 17 side of golden punjab hotel. shops name is laxman the guy to speak there is kavish he gives good rates and can get things for you in a day or two. you can tell him that i refered you (black aveo and carbon grey verna)

made a video for 0-100 kmph in my car - diesel
This is not the best it can do , due to traffic i had to release gas once at 90 kmph.
and in first gear too , i had not given full throttle
May be it can do 1 or 2 seconds faster then this.
I will try next time if i can get someone along with me to make a video while driving.

I wish petrol owners can make 0-100 kmph video (without risking their life)
so we can compare.
(dont do it until you are confident you are not taking a risk or until you have someone to make a video - i stay near highway so it was possible for me but still got some traffic)
