Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

first tank full got over today at 327 kms which is 7.6kmpl same as what the mid showed. filled in speed97

Speed 97 is used by Superbikes and hypercars.
Stuff having a very high compression ratio.

You DONT need that stuff.
And that is the reason for your 7.6kmpl

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

just back from nashik left this morning at 7am reached there by 9:30 am had a huge bad stretch while entering nashik where the front suspensions showed its flaws any bad potholes and the suspension would make a thak thak noise will show it during my 1st service. total distance covered was 370kms and the tank is now half. Mid showed a constant 14.7 kmpl while cruising between 90-130kmph have found no body roll or handling issue while negotiating curves or while on ghats at any speeds had to perform emergency braking due to stupid truckers and st buses, the brakes are very very impressive abs kicked in a few times could feel the pedal pulsating.
all in all im impressed with her.

welcome back.
hope u had a nice trip.

We had to use sources , RTO inspector wanted a bribe but fortunatly my uncle is RTO officer , promised us that all will be cleared by tomorrow/ Let's see.
My dad got it done this things there itself
1.Seat covers - took dark black with 2 light cream colored strips.I hope design will be the same that i am thinking. going to have rough use of it so chose black one.
2.led scuff plate
3.RTO approved films - I guess it's just 25% visibility. Will put total black 100% later
4.Number plate [lol]. that's all.

but anyways saved few pocketmoney.

here is my downgraded ICE of OHC. Got an awesome bass reflex. Rearview mirror shaking like hell

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

@nickandre
As i am also considering upgrading tyre for my verna. Just a question, Can we upgrade tyres with the current alloys offered in verna sx or sx(O)?

Did you get a real solution to your bumpy rides with all seat occupied?

I think there were quite few solutions offered in this thread like upgrading tyres, under inflating rubbers and filling it with nitrogen. Just wanted to check which one works better.[sleep]

[confused] Am i asking too much?

@fluidic everywhere: Upgrading Tyre to 205 will bring more stability. I had upgraded the tyres to 205 / 55 in the same company fitted alloys. Nick had upgraded the tyres to 205/50 but both of the profiles fits for new verna. The result after upgrading the tyre is positive while riding on corners, no bumpy, more road grip and overall its really great after upgraded.

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

I sold out the original 4 tyres for a good price and purchased Michelin tyres

Size: 205 / 55 R16
Brand: Michelin
Model: Primacy LC
Costs : Rs.8300 /- per Tyre
Total cost with offer : Rs.32000/-

Check the info here

You can go for either Continental or Michelin or Yokohama but Continental and Michelin are performance tyres. Its your choice!
