Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

Well, I did some general calculation with car weight, width and height and I felt 55 is the right one for R16 but anyhow lower ground clearance will bring more road grip and the riding will be more stability.

Recently I had done a trip with my family fully loaded to extreme south India and I faced big size speed breakers but not a inch was scratched the body and I felt I'm safe now [thumbsup] becoz I always used to go to the extreme south india like Kanyakumari and Kerala.

Bensam: you took me wrong. I know your ground clearance is good but what about your tyre touching body of the car in the wheel arch? I am sure your GC is better than nick's but with increased wheel size comes problem of tyre touching body of the car in the wheel arch especially when it's fully loaded.

oh yeah friend! I mean that its not scratching the humps, and the tyre is not touching the metal. I'm sure becoz I checked that after fully loaded. I will post some pics with fully loaded. [;)]

Was it city driving or highway? 13.5 is a good mileage for your car. Make sure you didn't fill diesel instead of petrol. LOL.[lol]

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

while going to nashik cruising between 90-130 mid showed 15. while in city driving it showed 12.6 and my normal highway drive with signals and it shows 13.9. this is with 100% ac and lowest temperature. ive redined it a few times and it showed 13.4 on the mid. Guess more money can be spent fro my lunch now( i have a very bad average feel hungry ever hour)
haha ill make sure of it i dont want my car to be a fog machine

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

I got my babe today 5'oclock in the morning.
Car looks awesome.
Going to ICE dealers today. I will sell my sony HU and pioneer component and will buy front speakers most probably infinity 6030cs
I will hook up my both amps and sub and rear OEM speakers with stock HU for now until i get some money to buy rear speakers...

If bass output is not enough i will go for Digital bass processor and capacitors later. but no change in Stock hu. it's beautiful and i dont feel like removing it. so goodbye to sony.

some photos by tomorrow evening :)

yeah , just leaving for iceing.
car has freaking awesome torque. kicks after 2000 rpm when turbo switches on.

we drove it at 160 in fifth gear n we forget tht it has 6th gear too [lol]

breaking at 160 kmph , it feels like car is not stopping in straight line

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

at that speed youre going to feel it fro a few times
this torque is killing me. after 2k rpm it feels like i am driving a jet.
i touched turbo after 2k rpm at least 15 times today. i know it's not good thing and n i got 13 kmpl mileage [:D] ..

They told the resell value of my sony dbl din HU - 3k rs... which i purchased for 12k... so decided not to sell it.
I just hooked up JBL amp via hi-low converter and to it my infinity 1260 sub... Except that evreything is stock.. Bass is little low compare to older setup but ignorable.
OEM speakers are ok type for mid and treble but they dont have any bass.

scosche 680 watt wiring kit for 1.5k and hi-low converter for 400 rs

b

and plan of putting infinity speakers is postponed until someone buy my sony HU.

more pics later :)

When drivers brought the car yesterday here , it was showing 21.5 kmpl
Even i am happy with 15 kmpl....
