Bensam: you took me wrong. I know your ground clearance is good but what about your tyre touching body of the car in the wheel arch? I am sure your GC is better than nick's but with increased wheel size comes problem of tyre touching body of the car in the wheel arch especially when it's fully loaded.
Well, I did some general calculation with car weight, width and height and I felt 55 is the right one for R16 but anyhow lower ground clearance will bring more road grip and the riding will be more stability.
Recently I had done a trip with my family fully loaded to extreme south India and I faced big size speed breakers but not a inch was scratched the body and I felt I'm safe now becoz I always used to go to the extreme south india like Kanyakumari and Kerala.
