cost comes around Rs.8600/- each tyre and I sold out the old tyres so I feel the cost is balanced

gurus need some help, was checking icici lombards site for my policy using the chasis number covernote and mobile number but it shows no records. IS it something i should be bothered about? its been 5 days since issue

How much did you get for your OEM tires?

Rs.18000/- four tyres
Original price for 195 / 55 R16 is around Rs.6700/- each tyre and sold out for Rs.4500/- each tyre
I feel its some what better for me and Changed my mind to 205 / 55 tyre Michelin. Michelin tyre is not making any noise and too calm

Hi Nick,

Sad to hear about the RTO mess. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. Regarding the insurance i would suggest calling up the ICICI customer care (unless not already done so). I had similar issues with Bajaj and they were able to resolve it. There was a system glitche.

PS: I called up the dealer for the update of my car delivery which was promised for Navratra. He now says the truck bringing the cars has met with an accident and all are damaged. He would update me when he hears from Hyundai about the fresh delivery. WOW! am not sure how factually true this is but is a sad news for me and really p***** me off.

just went to warm up my car and enjoy the air con as load sheddings back on. to my horror i saw all paint drops on my bonnet the wall behind my building was being painted and they splashed it everywhere. How do i remove the paint is looks water based but its not coming of with a wet cloth

went to my dealer to question them about my permanent number, they were making all sorts of excuses like it will come in one hour etc i said im going to wait then, they still made excuses and finally they gave me the papers and plates found out they got it on the same day i took it to the rto!! we had 3 choice of numbers they were asking 20k for it we refused and asked for any number goof news is we got a number out fo those choices without paying a penny extra nor giving them the numbers we wanted

What I had changed so far is:
* Tyres to 205 / 55 R16 Michelin
* CS 3M Sunfilms
* Headlamps to Philips Diamond vision [Later to HID not now]
* Horns to Trumpet from Roots and Tuned like in Skoda. It works nice
* Navigation system from MapMyIndia

Later:
* HID Kits
* Neon Lamps
* Bottom tail lamps

Riding is really awesome after I upgraded the tyre size. No bumpy, great at corners and Handling is really good. Everyone says this is C-Segment car but I will say this can be a D-Segment car. Having fun with her now

@bensam56 , verna looks really good in white! but some how I feel that very dark tints take away the rich look of the car. Is there in option to change the door handles to chrome ?
