yes, it takes its power from the reverse light, thats how most after market reverse cameras are connected. when it gets the power it sends the video signals to the mirror, mirror detects input and displays it

In Kolkata most of the 1.4 Crdi is booked by travel agents people confirmed by my dealer. That's ok most of the Jaguar that l saw in my city was yellow plate that doesn't hamper the reputation of the company according to me.

yeah even my dad goes to reliance petro for his meetings sometimes i drop him of and see lots of bmws, mercs, one or two jaguars and even porsche with tourist taxi plates.
actually its a good thing if we see our car as a taxi it means its cheap to maintain.

met a guy on another forum who scrapped the underbody of his verna, he drove of thinking alls well and later the engine oil light started glowing and engine became very noisy, and it stalled, since it was a unsafe location he tried to start the car till road side assistance can come help him, it started drove 2-3 km stalled after sometime started and stalled till he got to the main road, where the road side assistance came an hour later, they towed his car and found the oil sump badly damaged and oil leaked of. hope his engine is not done for.

Hey Mukesh;
Well dont know the exact date but officially it is six months(as told), booked almost two months back. However might get it soon due to some influences; may be a couple of months earlier but not sure.[surprise]

BTW DZire is still running strong on 74k kms on the ODO...[:D]

Also planned to start two new threads about Verna and one of DZire; but you know how lazy I am to type the whole stories!!

Has any one bought the new verna 1.4 diesel or petrol ?

Iam interested to know because I have not read any reviews about it . How is the performance and mileage compared to the 1.6 engines ?

raja most cabbies buy 1.4 diesel i suppose it to be good but do consider a 1.6 as you get abs 4 disc breaks driver airbags as well as auto a/c mileage wise not much difference on papers
