also if govt hikes the tax on diesels may be auto industry which is recovering from a recession may again go in deeps as nowadays diesel cars are most selling for each company.
The GM has asked me to directly contact him, so now i have to wait and see how this exchange process goes on or consider between a white SX in next week or a Silver SX may with Tax around 80K to 1.5 Lakh in next month.
TAI guys is there anyone who want to exchange his Silver CRDI SX 1.6 with White CRDI SX 1.6 upto Feb end ?
a stupid hope if someone is allotted with a silver while he wants a white.
now a great dilema ahead... [confused]

Guyz heard that Honda has filed a case against Hyundai for some reasons and the current Verna Fluidic may be discontinued.[shock] How far is this news true?

gears that was rumors, the all new sonata is set to launch later this month, if it was true then i don't think so sonata would make it as it follows the fluidic sculpture. and anyways vernas bookings are on full swing. so chill and get your babe soon.
by the way i heard this rumor in october.

hi guys
i have a fluidic verna which has run 14000km.recently after a short trip(150km) i noticed that when ever i apply the brakes i can hear a "screeching" noise from rear discs.but the brakes work perfectly. am puzzled to what is the cause for the noise. plz help[frustration]

have the brake pads and rotors checked. the screeching noise usually happens if it has run through water and wet/ its a indicator that the pads are in need of replacement. when so it emits a screeching noise to warm the driver. get it checked asap or you may spend more on brake repairs.
btw at 14000kms its way to early for brake pads to give way, you have an auto/manual gear?

dr. i met one of my friends a while back, her verna now at 16000 km to has those screeching noises from rear disc breaks since a few days.

attached some pictures of my ANHV

experience of my 2 days driving @ 720 Km.

fe shows on display - 13.4 km . till not check officially with tank full method.

( vehicle runs @ 1040 km & total fuel consumed is @ 75 lit = it means 13.90 kmpl)

out of 720 km 25% is on highways, 50% on state highways & 25%on rural roads ( totally bad ones) including ghat sections

the vehicle is loaded with 4 adults & one child with luggage on board.
the overall ride is somewhat bumpy but no complaints from backsitters. till now not even touch any spped breaker.

Some other issues.
1. With audio player - some tragic experience i have face that the company fitted system is not play the songs completly the sound track skips the songs and so cant hear full songs if the normal track is of 5 minutes then my player play it for one minute and skip for next it happens for ipod, cd & usb all.

2. With some strange readings of FE - After reaching my place i observed that fuel indicator start blinking so i went to hp pump for refilling but due to some bad luck there is no petrol available. after some request he fill it up only of rs 100. i came back to my place and check the instrument cluster for how much km i can run on but display shows : ---- reading further i check the fe it shows 6 kmph.
The vehicle shows FE of 13.4 km just before 15 minutes
how can it shows 6 kmph only after driving of 2 kms run without setting the new trip.[confused]
tommarow i will make tank full and check again

nilesh when you fill fuel the meter will automatically reset.
and distance to empty won't show values below 50km and above 999km it will show ---
and
when you idle after refueling or resting your your average display it will fall down quickly.
