@ DINESH Hello , yes all automobile manufacturers are increasing the prices of the cars. The input and raw materials cost is rising and the value of Rupee is falling and hence the price increase!

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

Drove my friends Verna 1.6P on a 400 km round journey and I must say as much as the car looks acceptable from the outside, the driving experience ruins it totally. Anyone who loves to drive a car and revels in it's handling and dynamics would be completely turned off by the Verna. However, and to give Hyundai it's due, the car will appeal for the average Joe who wants nothing but the maximum bag for his buck. The car looks okay, has good quality interiors and reasonably refined and powerful engines with par fuel efficiency for the course. With spot on pricing, it's no wonder that the car is doing good numbers - the Fiesta's pricing has killed it. Good days ahead for Hyundai.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

in manual gears the eco will tell you to change gears according to speeds. it has been programmed for economy, you will be knowing when to change the gear by your own, it doesnt make sense concentrating on the instrument cluster rather then road safety. in auto gears when you are driving at a specified speed the eco indicator will glow. it doesnt make much difference. in usa and canada our car has a eco button which when pressed lowers performance and increases economy

today had gone to do some polishing work fro my other car. the guy i go to has a used car dealership to and what amazed me was 2 petrol fluidic vernas. one auto and one 1.6 sx. the auto was priced at 9lakhs and sx was at 8.15lakhs. the auto was 2000kms driven and manual was 8000kms driven. no info as to why they sold it.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

petrol verna right. jeez my verna gives 9-10 under any foot except the service centres
My friend's Verna (the one I drove on the 400km round trip) is a 1.6 Petrol and gives him 10 kmpl in the city. On the highway drive, I drove the car at a steady 80kmph in top gear, It was a four lane highway with very thin traffic. No braking, no acceleration, just a steady speed with the two of us on board and very little luggage. Driven in such manner and under such road/traffic conditions, I would really be surprised if your Verna does not give you 14kmpl.

drove on the expressway at 110kmph constant no braking and then had 30-40 kms drive through the peths mg road and shivaji nagar and then back cruising. fe? 10.1kmpl for this 320kms trip add 90kms in new bombay driving. its just the mid which fooled me with 19kmpl while manual calculation tank ful gave me 10.6
my older aveo 1.4 which has 1.35 lakh kms gave 13 kmpl at same speed

shivraj heres a review of the 1.4 vtvt although. if i am right the 1.4crdi has no turbo charger

All Hyundai diesel engines are turbocharged. The 1.4 is no different.

all new diesel engines are turbocharged.
without turbocharger diesel engine will accelerate like a truck. and will take 20 sec to reach 100.
very old models like of tata sumo and other cars were lacking turbocharger.
