Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

Guys I was just going through the booking recepit given by Mukesh Hyundai to me and I noticed there was no commitment date written anywhere in that. Is it something I should be worried about and should I go to dealer and take in writing.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

Guys my CRDI verna is on 100kms but the milage is just 10kmpl, once i had been on highway and got FE of 19kmpl. But why just 10kmpl in the city max is 11kmpl. [confused]

The max i take the car till 80km/hr that too using the 6th gear.
fe varies. in first 50 km of my driving , it showed 10 kmpl... then went on highway , fe was upto 21 ...after that it was constantly between 15-16 kmpl.. and if i go in city traffic , 13-14 kmpl not less.
on highway i drive between 100-140 in 6th gear.
i am using BP petrol mostly.

if you drive it at 80-100 kmph in 6th gear , you will get 20 kmpl....
the fe meter will reset automatically when you fill diesel.

The new Hyundai Verna at the first glance reminds you instantly of a sports car, looks are very futuristic from any angle you see it. The overall design element is `Fluidic Sculpture` as Hyundai terms it and truly it is. The front end is dominated by large swept back two tone bezel headlamps, a very sleek and trendy bonnet that has bend lines making it and large bumper that has a sporty hexagonal grill and a chrome strip with the Hyundai logo and a low big sized and wide air dam and integrated L-shaped front fog lamps that are very eye catchy.

@nick
Thanks brother for your advise, do you mean the company pump? There is a company pump in my area too, i mean there is no such private owner of that pump. It is owned by Hindustan Petroleum itself.
Should i tank up there? & should i fill speed or the odinary, does it make any difference?

for diesel stick to ordinary. or else i have seen guys who use those premium diesels and their car giving out black smoke. give a try to the pumps you find good fill in a few litres and see what mid says instead of wasting money like me on full tanks.
my aveo always gives 10.5 kmpl in any pump but i usually find difference in performance. in verna difference is fe and engine response performance is same but was the best in speed 97 and shell

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

just went on highway 40 kms.
drove it at 80-120 in 5th and 6th gear.
i bet for diesel if you are crusing at 1500 rpm in 6th gear on highway , no doubt, you will definitely get 19-20 kmpl.

and about diesel power , Civic ate my dust , after we crossed speedbreaker , we both rev hard , he was ahead initially just for 2-3 sec , and when i reached between 2k to 4k rpm , in 2nd and 3rd gear , civic was far behind me. ha..

fe was 11 kmpl when i left home and when i came back it is -

a diesel auto overtook me after the toll on expressway was miles ahead of me.
was this fe with ac on?
got my service appointment for monday 8 am i am asked to report before that so my car goes in first.
my fe is still at 16.8 with ac on 100% lowest setting
