Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

@Neil: ill put the pictures once im back from my trip, lol i think im the only one on this thread who hasnt put up any pichas[embarass], ill put them asap!

@Nick: Thats the only thing ill like to have in my car. But do the after market projectors provide good amount of fall? One of my cousin had them in his swift and he always complained for the fall. It has killer looks though. I think orion is the best brand to provide after market prjectors !
yesterday saw two vernas with alloys. one was ugly. other one was having 16 inch chrome alloys but as you said nick , they were coming out of the body. making it ugly when seen from front.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

Hey guys just back from my trip, i really love this car now. I got 190kmph on my speedo twice & it was effortless, it was a little bouncy at 190kmph but yeah i could control it.
Overall handeling was good i could really handle it well on high speeds, on the turns too.
Braking is incredible. Overall FE i got was 16kmpl, i didnt try the full tank method this was shown on the indicator. My experience was great, the car didnt let me down in the handeling part.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

kpaaz thats good news 190 and steady phew!! 16kmpl is fine as per the speeds ypu were cruising at i guess it would have been 18+ if you were at 90-130
i think i need another pune trip for fuel (kidding)
my shells fuel has 70kms till dry :(( run about 510 kms
thats around 15kmpl(25%city 45% less traffic roads with signals 30%highway cruising) 100% ac at lowest setting
speed 97 gave me 15 kmpl (35% city 50% less traffic road with signals 15% highway) 100% ac at lowest setting

speed 97 felt more responsive and a slight gain in performance and acceleration sad thing is the pump is 25 kms from my house and shell is 110kms from my house
so i guess im on a hunt for packed bharat petroleums
the hp pump i fill my aveo with gave nasty fes of 7.5 compared to my aveo which gives 11 on that same fuel

This has to be published everywhere where some poor people's say Verna Handling is not good. [cheers]

I can confirm my thought (which I had earlier) on why people say "Verna? Handling problem. " They dont know to drive and control the car at high speeds [lol]

well most people just trash the handling and say a whole lot of .. i agree i20 had issues but i dnt know why people say both share the problems i20 had steering rattle n we verna guys have same steering but never had steering rattles.
after tightening bolts me bensam and neil found the handling improved alot.
at high speed i guess any car will be bouncy

actually people has misinterpreted the reviews. in reviews they have said at higher speed you will feel little bumpy (because of suspension) but they never said it has poor handling. of course compare to new fiesta , it's little on bad side. and all fords have best handling from beggining. but it doesnt mean verna handles like maruti 800. i never felt handling problem , so many times i have done cornering at 120-130 kmph . but it is obvious that people will get scared if body floats and will hesitate to go on high speed.
this is what autocarindia review said.

So cheers [cheers] all fluidic owners. [:D]

ya it's little improvement i felt. but problem not solved 100%. its still bouncy and will touch the humps with 4 peoples i guess.

I have also touched more than three speed bumps till now.
@nick: I also cruised at those speeds but never got FE more than 16kmpl.
And at the handeling part i cant call it the best but not so degraded too, i had all my confidence. I have the speedo pichas too, ill upload them tonite.
