Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

don't know whats with the engine or the MID.

my car showed 10.8 after coming from that 100kms trip on sunday. today drove the car for 25 kms and coming back mid showed 11 kmpl [surprise] i mean , what's happening.

on the same route , same traffic , same speed fe was stuck between 8-10. and now afer coming back from that trip its increasing once again.

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

read this in autocar verna's review [lol]

Hyundai has really upped the quality ante in the recent past and the Verna is no exception with reasonably tight panel gaps and a paint job that has a deeper gloss than before.

another thing.

whenever i start my car in the morning after 10-12 hours idle time , i get a lot of smell of the petrol (windows are down ) [confused] i keep the engine running for 20-30 seconds and when i move , i get the smell.

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

Hmm some relief [:D]

Just came back from a drive. Not in verna but my santro. It has covered 53000km but still feels fresh.

Was wondering what's the use of spending this much money on cars which have problem and for.some reasons coudn't enjoy them.

On the other hand , I was calm driving santro , don't have to think a lot to take the car out and fo have some fun.

the santros, accent, sonata gold embera, elantra, tuscon, getz were really good cars they had quality and these cars still run amazingly. hyundai is now concentrating on looks and features and giving fe claims only on paper cause they know that attracts more people to their cars. earlier santros were the attraction good fe as well as comforts and they weren't so bouncy.

ping pong balls[lol] suspension is terrible see a rough patch have to bring down the speeds n suffer honking from behind. Rear passengers threaten me"if i puke i will puke on you" lets see how the new springs feel I'm guessing handling will be more worse with height increase

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

i thought i changed the topic but its back to the suspension [lol]

i10's suspension is similar to verna. same bouncing and ping pong balls [thumbsup]

and i agree , simple cars were better , my earlier 2001 santro covered around 1,00,000 kms and sold the car in 2009 for 1,00,000 [;)] so you can imagine the condition. simple cars were better. we didn't change anything in that car but engine oil and oil filter. no air filter , no brake pads , no gear oil , brake oil nothing.

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

i don't think so , that's why my dad every time says " no need" [:D] nick i'm sure. dad always said i didn't change anything in the car and still it remained perfect.

i opened a new thread check it out.

http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...hyundai-trio-santro-i10-verna.html#post170811

and lol , it won't overturn , my friend in a honda city cornered causing the rear right wheel to lift [:D] we were in a shock [:D] speed was around 40 but we couldn't see the turn so we had to turn like that.

so i feel if you are not doing something like that it won't over turn.
