Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

if i was there id rather call 4 people and carry the car out of that road its terrible! By the way those your santro and i10?

thats an sx i suppose?
you see how my car is parked right. there's no way to reverse it and take it from the way you can see in the pic.

and the direction the car is facing , i posted a video before , its that way [sad]

and no its my chacha's santro and i10 is of some neighbor.

dude i made a new thread didn't you see ?

http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/ownership-reviews/7967-hyundai-trio-santro-i10-verna.html

Its freakishly scary! Looks like every day you drive in and out you hone ur driving skills like a knife
you have no idea buddy what i have to face everyday [:(] will surely make a new video of the other street end as well. and at night cars are parked like zig zag no space. but still i have to take the car in.

when i find space i turn it back facing the direction opposite in the pic because the other way is the video that i posted.

Guess the car [sad] it only did some 650 kms and now this. unlucky for the car but lucky for the passengers. i don't think any one was seriously injured. cabin was intact , i didn't see airbags deployed and forgot to see the model.

Hyundai Fluidic Verna Crash. - YouTube

i thing this accident happened at a very high speed. but still doesn't looks that bad. i mean cabin was not affected at all and i think its a direct hit into something.

Yeah the accident doesn't look that bad. Just in 650kms flat.[shock] But airbags didnt deployed? Hope the passengers didn't got any injuries.
BTW some one was asking about the placement of horns in our Verna; so this video may be helpful. [:D]

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

its a 1.6 crdi as the 1.4 does not have the auto climate control a/c how i say this? there is temperature sensor on the right bottom portion of the condensor. Regarding air bag deployment the car may have been in standstill air bags won't deploy as it will be unnecessary then.
650km flat is nothing there is a member i forgot his username he got his verna and on the day of delivery or was in next day he met with an accident everyone was unhurt airbags deployed but the powder made him loose visibility. I think it took him a few months to get his car fixed, and its from him i got to know the costs of a few more parts like the turbo intercooler 16k radiator 7k half of i is plastic so if its not 0%dep I'm not sure if it will be covered our rear view mirror costs 46k.

as nick mentioned its a 1.6 , the steering was intact. no airbags.

and yes [:D] i also saw that horn [lol] so its difficult to change the horn.

lol where did you see that [:D] i can't see a thing. yeah you are right if it was standing still no sensors no airbags.

rear view mirror - 46k are you kidding. can't be 46 k. from what i heard the most expensive rear view mirror is of the CR-V. and it can't be 46k nick. my friend's superb side view mirrors got stolen and as far as i remember he told me they cost 10k each. not sure. but 46 is way too much.

also , mine doesn't have the motor. mine is manual. and i have seen several cars with automatic rear views mirror stolen , wires are visible , good that i purchased without the motor. my area is not the safest.

dude im not talking of that mirror I'm talking of the one in the cabin with the auto dimming and rear camera display. the other mirrors what you are talking of costs 5000 excluding painting.

Man that doesn't look too good[cry]. A cosmetic restoration is very much possible but it won't be easy to get the car back to its original mechanical condition if the force of impact has damaged more internal parts than we see in the pics.

generally most service centers are well equipped to get the chassis back to shape and check for reliability but i think its best to try for total loss on this car.

You know damages like those are seen very often these days. So they wont write off the car as a complete loss and the insurance company wont approve even if they claim that[:D].

Problems wont be noticed straightaway after delivery. Issues will pop up every now then. I know of a Swift which was damaged in a similar manner and it's not yet back to original condition. The owner says it is no longer the same car at high speeds and many issues keep cropping up. There are lucky chaps who get it back to original condition but it's not always possible[anger].

i agree. the car won't feel like its supposed to. guess they won't notice a difference just because they only drove it 650 kms [sad]

the bumper , grill , both fenders , the radiator and don't know what all is missing.

lol [:D] i know what you mean. easy way to recover the investment in the car.

for the insurance to give us the whole money i think the damage should me more than 75% or else they will cover only damages.

most of the guys just sell their cars in that condition only and insurance also gives them the money. a member did the same for his honda city.

but as you said it won't feel the same. best is to sell the car even on loss.

Re: New Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 VTVT

to get the idv also is tough these guys no al the games in the book and give you lesser. There was a car robbed in the area the insurance paid them 80% of the idv and that to after 5 months where as my dads friend who's a politician here his car got robbed he got the insurance to pay him the idv was little less but close to it and that to after 45 days.
