Hello Fellas,

Sorry missed this thread! Biker boy is definitely in for this meet. I rode to Horsley along with my biking buddies and had a fabulous stay there. I may either ride along or drive my atom there. Looking forward for the meet.

2. Welcome to APTOURISM - APTDC's site to book accommodation online. Not tried as it needs a registration to proceed further. The rates must be better than any other private resorts.

BTW, before we proceed on finalizing the stay, we need to finalize and freeze on the numbers. I guess, booking it in a month advance would be sufficient.

I just checked APTDC site with bookings. Pls find the following details. main thing is no where they have mentioned the facility it has. I think the Horsley hills holiday home would be nice. If we plan properly for two days we can book the entire thing for us [Not much rooms are available] only 26 rooms are available.

Hurry up guys. if we all alone in single resort think of it how grand it would be.

Sent these queries to both resorts and waiting for the reply. Anything needs to be added?

1. Facilities available [Pool, activities etc]
2. Restaurant [Buffet cost, if available or general info about food]
3. Rooms details [How many can stay in a double room and single room]
4. Assuming a family of 4 [2 adults and 2 children] can share a double room?
5. In a double room how many can extra stay [with extra bed with payment]?
6. Do we need to pay the entire payment while doing the online booking or partial payment and balance at the time of checking out?
7. Since we are coming on a group do we get any discount on stay and food?

Is Independence day made as official TAI South Indians meet?

Good initiative Sethu. I will confirm my participation a week prior to the meet. I will try all possibility to meet TAI buddies as well as Mr Nozzlering after a long time.

I checked the video of Horsely hills, it just looks like a barren hill void of greenery. Is it a right place?

Though I will be silent, will be watching this space for all updates.

@rekharam, First of all thanks for liking the idea, Yes we can make Independence day as Official TAI meet day [south or north, its TAI].

We have choose this place for couple of reasons.

The place is being discussed for some time but always reared by other places
We would wanted a place common/short/center of point for both cities since most people are from here.
Some hill station​

We hope in August this place will be cool to some extent.

And another request is, since we are planning to stay for a night we are forced to book our stay there. For that we should have some enough time to plan/book etc. So it would be nice if we have confirmation at least 15-20 days prior to the meet. [hopefully the rooms are available at that time]

This is awesome. I have been to horsley hills with fellow riders and it is a nice play to stay. You also have a hill and I managed to ride to the top on my RE and dropped my brand new ls2. It would be uber cool if we manage to book all the rooms in the resort.
