Yes, its Brio's list, and they didn't give me the Jazz accessories price list as Ajith and the Front desk lady were on leave. They told for Jazz also more or less same but some hike will be there as Jazz is bigger than Brio.

Also please let us know if they call any one of us for PDI. I will also keep in touch with them.

Why don't you try putting accessories outside the prices like jazzy said is nothing but daylight robbery . And you do go for PDI it is your right just don't rely on them it must be done from your side too.

Today, went to the showroom as i was going through that way. Inquired regarding my car and the lady at the desk checked and said mine was dispatched on April 12th.. Expecting arrival by 22nd or so. Saw a new RR select parked outside with Temporary number. Today's delivery include two White Selects , the same RR select and 1 blue SMT Brio, that too to Princess family. Didn't see Ajith though. Again, while driving through the Bypass road, saw a new Silver select , which i think was delivered last month. Your lot too contains 3 jazzes .So, lots of new jazz on the Trivandrum roads.

Today, I went to Whitefield Honda Bangalore, these are the prices quoted by them for Jazz.

Lumar sun film front - 8000
Lumar sun film side and rear - 6500
Reverse camera +sensor +3.5 inch screen - 8500
CASKA (DVD multimedia + bluetooth +GPS +Reverse Camera +USB +Aux in ) - 55000
(They told they will replace the existing audio unit and replace with this touch screen device in that place)
Floor Mats - 1200
Seat covers (Honda made) - 20000
Teflon + under body coating -10000
Spoiler - 9000
Fog Lamps (for Select) - 15000

If we go with our vehicle, then they, guaranteed some discounts for the above mentioned prices.

Any one has got any other better deals ?

Seems like Peninsular is better in some sense. Seat covers for 20K? Holy ! They are art-leather right? You can get Stanley's by about 30-35K. Sun-films too costly!

Probably my car would have reached the showroom today and planning to take the delivery on 22nd.

Somehow Im not ok with the sporty alloy that comes with XMT UT. I feel UT and black alloys dont go well together. Planning to check with the dealer if that can be exchanged with the one that come with SELECT. Also ready to exchange it with any SELECT customers if they are intreseted.

@Akhil,@harinhs - Any updates on your car?

I am new in this forum and want to know the opinion of members regarding choice between New Maruti Swift 2011 ZXI and re launched face lifted Honda Jazz select 2011 my priorities are space & comfort, fuel economy and low maintains cost, good after sales service. I have visited show rooms of both the cars. Maruti & Honda’s quotations are below:

Congrats! If you go to stockyard tomorrow and if you happen to see other X, do look at their brand of tires. Heard only a few cars are getting Michelin.Btw, what you have mentioned is somewhat right. Dull alloys wont go well with UT. But, i wold say its Okay. Go have a look and decide. I'm sure the select guy would be lucky !.

No updates for mine. Mine was dispatched only on 12th. So, it will arrive only by 22/23. @harin's UT might have arrived.

Yes, finally the car arrived the showroom. Been there to pay the balance amount but I couldnt see my car since it was late. I will not be able to take the delivery by 22nd since I had to pay the balance amt by cheque. Planning to go for PDI on 21st and delivery on 25th.

Very excited when I was there at the showroom to touch n feel the Jazz after 8 months.

I also checked for Grille&Spoiler, no its not shipped with the car :((. But SA asked me to pay for it and wait. I said b*** s*** in my mind. Seriously, enough of waiting for 8 months by paying a lakh. You please check, if is not shipped along with car, will they charge more than what they quote now when you buy it later? And also do they insist you to pay the amt though its not available.

Please share the PDI checklist if you have any personally.

I would suggest Jazz over Swift. Both are almost equally good in all the aspects except one i.e. space which is one of your priorities. Here, Jazz is much ahead of Swift. Regarding Jazz base model vs. Jazz select, you can decide considering your requirements but I think 50000 difference is quite big.

Apart from the looks ,which is subjective, you are confused which one to choose, its easy and simple since your options are only with petrol.

Where Jazz wins over Swift: Space & Comfort, Quality, Magic seats, Premium global car.
Swift over Jazz: If you are person who loves to drive and expect fun in driving. This is it.

FE, Engine, Reliable, long term: Both cars are equally good in these areas.

Finally, if you are looking a car for yourself and you'll be the only person using or travelling most of the time then Swift is you car Or if its for family then go for Jazz.

Have to do temp to book a fancy number(number not really fancy though).

Went to dealer and stockyard today morning. @harin: I saw you !.Ajith later told me that you asked about me.
Somewhat done the PDI, i wasn't really prepared. I was in rush , forgot my CD and pen-drive, so wasn't able to test stereo. Decoded the VIN, April '12 manufactured . Car was full of dirt and dust. But, liked silver . Better than i expected. Loved those dull metal alloys. @Krishleo: Better not to exchange them.They look very good. Odo reading was just 5kms. Checked AC n all. Only things that were sad : Tyres are Good-years. Wanted Michelin. No spoiler and grille. But, still really liked it.

@harin: You are really one lucky guy. Only your UT has Michelin. After you left showroom, yours was taken to showroom, Ajith said for regn purposes. UT looks good. So, you getting on Monday?
