When we tried calling back, it says wrong number.Hope my X is coming.Was busy for last 2days, so was unable to reply to you guys. We went to RTO today to inquire regarding number booking and they said it can be done only after car reaches the dealer. An idea regarding this ? Initially thought to go to Showroom after this , but later decided to go tomorrow. Will ask for freebies and all stuffs tomorrow .Have you talked to the GM directly?
Harin, the dealer themselves wont be mentioning about PDI( in my experience) . If we have to carry out PDI, we have to inform them before registration. Once registration is carried out, we cant do anything. So, you cant complain anything after registering. The company will reply saying we should have done inspection before delivery.

My SA told me that Extended warranty will cost you more, if you are doing it later. Dont remember this correctly. Will check this with my dealer and tell you tomorrow.

Why don't you take in writing from the dealer that the guy will arrive at a particular date .also you can email Honda with you details of booking and ask them about your car.

Hi Akhilji : First my Loan executive called me and told the loan is going to be approved and I need to go there for loan disbursement. After one hour only Ajith called me and told my vehicle has been started from Noida. so some thing fishy here. Initially he told we need to pay in full before the consignment starts from Noida. But now once he came to know that loan is approved, then he is sure that he is going to get the full DD from bank (since I paid my part to the bank instead of dealer ), he changed the words.
Also not sure, if this consignment consists only Select, if you could check which the persons who booked X before/after you then we can confirm. Better to open a call with Honda one2one and Cochin head office peninsular representative will call you back. Address this issue and tell them if you get in this consignment then only you can pay in full without any delay.

the parking sensor is without camer. its soemwher 5k. everything tht honda offers as extra got 4k plus charges. extended warranty 4k, under body plating 5 k..etc..
They will deliver the car onl after doing temporary reg,which takes 1 day time frame on weekends. you may go n do pre-delivery inscpection.
IMPORTANT: if you guys feel worried of getting faulty car, just take a cam recorder n record the car's key changing ceremoney n run your camera everywhere. that will be proof incase any damage gets noticed only after delivery. Once car leaves showroom,you are at mercy of the "warranty" . With the cam recording, you got legal proof. But its HONDA dude !, just relax n drive it with pleasure.

So, its Ajith who called you. So, something really fishy now.But, when he called me, he spoke as though like he didnt know about today's dispatch. First, i asked whether X has been shipped?. He said yes, and that it will come on the date he already mentioned. I told him that i didnt got any call today and i have a doubt whethether its dispatched . He said yes and not to worry. Then i said about going to showroom and he said he will be there only upto noon amd asked me " why coming? Discuss about accesories ?" i said yes and asked about GM. He said he may be busy tomorrow afternoon. But the lady at the desk shall hepl us with accesory list and so on.He said he will call once the consignment arrives. Akhil: Following our discussion here, I contacted the GM of the dealership about the allotment. She confirmed back with the chasis number of my car which is in transit. Now Im relieved. Believe you can also do the same.

Guys, went to showroom and sorted out all problems.
@Harin : Initially, Ajith was busy, so we were assisted by the lady at the desk. She checked the database and said ours is supposed to be billed today and consignment will get dispatched either today/ tomorrow. They will receive confirmation only the next day or so. So, told us to call us as soon as they get the confirmation. I asked many a time, "Sure that X it will come? " She was sure and even told us to make payment only after getting confirmation. So, that made us believe. i inquired about yours( just to the lady) and she checked and said yours were dispatched along with 2/3 other selects on 9th and they got confirmation by yesterday and hence called you yesterday. She said there is nothing like payment should be done before dispatching. Its just to make sure that customers don't scoot . She said transit time maybe anywhere between 8-10days.
@Krishleo: Since yours have received call on Sunday, yours might have been dispatched earlier and you may get soon. Btw, did dealer tell you anything about front-grille and spoiler?
Discussed accessories at dealer and was shocked with the prices.I will attach the price list. Only worry is we wont get the spoiler and grille. My dealer told they haven't received spoiler and grille kit for customers who got car back in November. So, they aren't including its prices as of now. Asked us to book it for 10K now , because its 20K separately! SA said they cant give freebies as such but can give discounts. So, we gave them a list and he will call us after talking with GM. Planned to do 3M's paint protection(1yr warranty) and under-body coating(5yr warranty) and reverse sensors and we will opt for Bumper-to-Bumper(B2B) insurance which costs an additional 5K. I would personally recommend both @Harin @Krishleo to opt B2B, because it includes plastic parts too. Dad was shocked to see the prices of Fogs -30K !!! So, B2B makes sense. Have to say, moving from Maruti to Honda, parts prices are really on higher side. initially, thought to add corner and body protectors(beading) but both of them costs another 17K. Dammit !Dad said our Alto's door beading is around 2K(not painted though) . Discussed about sun-films too. Dealer offers Garware films and they seem to be of reasonable cost. Front shield cost 4200 and side and rear can be done at 3500(although it aint the premium ones). He even showed us a new red city being done with the films. Went to workshop are and its larger than i expected .

If you're getting spoiler and grille, so should i. Please do check about this again. If so, i should call my SA and say so. God knows what they are doing. Cant believe these dealers. They make even take and give them to old customers who didnt get them. Insurance at 15K seems reasonable. In invoice, its written 18K for us. Regarding extended warranty, forgot about that. Will check on to this too. When i went to book, SA said if we extend at the end of 2years, it will be more costlier than 6.2K. Instead of asking him again, planning to call One2One and ask about this.

Will check on the spoiler&Grille again. 15K Insurance is from RoyalSundaram but from Honda it is 19K here.

@Harin - dont go for those seat covers. They are just art leather and they dont cost 10K. Better to do seat covers outside. You know, accesory shop at power house road. They said we could get even leather for 18K. But, that may not be a good one though. You can easily find art leather seatcovers for 5-6K outside.sunfilms are of reasonable cost. It even looks good. You just go to showroom and tell them to show you a car which is done with the film. They showed me 2 city and 1 UT brio. Teflon and underbody are a must. Regarding body cover, we wont need one as we use the car daily. If you're buying one, look for a Polco brand. Heard that its the best cover. Parking sensors are just sensors which beeps. They might show the dist to the obstacle in feets. Dunno if its upgradable to visual one later. If you can afford 12K, i recommend the one with visual.
