Hi Akhiji : what about PDI / registration ? when it will be approximately ? did you ask about that, or do they mention about that ? any ways, tomorrow I am going to the dealer and check for insurance, extended warranty, and accessories, and I will take quotes for accessories from various different shops like motorplaza etc on the way to the dealer.

Art leather seat covers for jazz should be in the 5-6k range max. garware is good & icecoolshield is effective for front windshield. But yes, it does slightly hamper night drivng only if its raining. 3M paint & underbody coat is advisable. Parking sensors are not really needed in a hatch but one can always get it done. The parking sensors satrt from 2.8k to 8k...comes in several varieties- ones with only sound, ones with sound & distance bar, then ones with voice guidance & then the camera ones

I asked Ajith to call me As soon as the consignment arrives and that I would like to do a PDI. He said ok. Do post what he says and the quote for accessories at shops.

1st service done :-) ..!! 1200 kms in 3 weeks lol . still running with temp reg paper. i got my car number 3 days back.

Congrats, then does it cost any for your first service ? also is it TEMP registration first ? after how many days we will get the actual number ?

I have asked for it and waiting. SA said that I can opt for extended waranty even later, which will cost me no difference within two months of delivery, Rs.800 if it is after 2 months and around Rs.1200 after 6-7 months. So I decided to consider later. Front Grille & Spoiler - I asked him to confirm if it is getting shipped along with my car and also asked him to check on the price difference if it comes now and I take it later.

My car is still in transit and expected mid of next week. Checked on PDI, SA said that it can be done before registration.

@Harins,@Akhil - Please make sure you do your PDI thoroughly. One of my friend purchased City a year back did not notice the damage on the front bumper when he had gone for the PDI in the evening. Now he is facing more problems with that. Little worried hearing this. Hope all goes well for us.

Today I went to the dealer, my SA Ajith was on leave, hence they didn't give Jazz accessories list/quote, because of festival, all are on leave, finally they arranged for a Brio accessories list and told for jazz also price will be only some difference may be on the higher side, from this I understood that its all decided by the SA, they will round off to the next higher figure, and all are negotiable, if we stand firmly they will give and reduce their profit and give. We will hope for the best, also insurance he claims that honda assure is only some 1K more than the ordinary one and by default they are giving honda assure. B2B 4-5K extra. Anyways if we buy any accessories later they are going to charge more.

I havent received call yet regarding my dispatchment. Expected it today because yesterday was a holiday.hope it was bcos Ajith was absent. Will call him again on Monday. Next time i go to showroom, i will try to bargain. But the problem is that lady at desk. As soon as i start to talk about reducing prices and freebies, she will start saying ' we cant do that. Its Honda's genuine pricing'. Damn her. See, they know we all will do the teflon amd underbody . Heard somewhere that underbody job from 3M is only 2.5K. Regarding insurance, some said Honda assure is enough and it will provide max. Claim. Will ask this qn again to honda owners.Btw, you inquired any other shops ?

@Harin : called up Motorplaza on seeing their ad . Asked about sunfilm prices. They 3M, Garware ,Llumar etc. When asked about 3M, he said they have lifetime warranty.he said they will replace even if a bubble is formed or even if glass breaks during an accident. 3M's front antiglare film costs 5500 whereas Garware's is 2.5K. At dealer, Garware's was 4.2K. Might be a cheaper version i suppose. Then i asked how much for high grade silver tint from 3M. He said cops will fine, if we put that.It costs 7.5K and they dont have it in stock.

akhiji : do you mean the front windshield's antiglare film (3M) alone costs 5500 ? what is the cost for putting sun films on side and back ? I think, its better to do it outside. I will inquire in car palace also.

Yep.[:D] I didnt asked him about ordinary film of 3M, just about silver tint. It costs about 7.5K. Will head over there next week, while going to showroom and take a look.

Since CD tuner is in the list, i guess this list is that of Brio's . Right? Brio's accesories also seem to be expensive as well. Typically Honda !

Yes, its Brio's list, and they didn't give me the Jazz accessories price list as Ajith and the Front desk lady were on leave. They told for Jazz also more or less same but some hike will be there as Jazz is bigger than Brio.

Also please let us know if they call any one of us for PDI. I will also keep in touch with them.
