@akhilji, yes 20th evening I did the PDI, Atlast delivery taken on 23rd evening. I got alteast Reverse parking sensor as a freebie :-), some discounts of 4K given apart from that, which I opted for B2B insurance with that 4K. Did SA Ajith told you anything about the extended warranty. How about that cost there ? For me he didn't tell anything.

Krish & Akhil : any freebies or discounts for you ? have you guys taken the delivery ?

i am a Jazz lover and have booked a Silver Jazz XMT at Dakshin in Bangalore, still havent recieved mine yet.

Booked it back in Aug 30th, Jazz XMT silver, was told by SA that i would get it by April 17th, was later told that there was a miscommunication from Honda and the car was dispatched last Monday and will get it this Friday. but when i called them today they are not sure when the car would reach them or if it was even dispatched from the factory. [confused]

WTH?? Call to some senior persons there and talk to them. Say that you waited enough.

I booked on August 24th and was adamant on color(UT) and variant(XMT). I believe that took such a long time to get it. Else I was offered Silver SELECT in SEP, White XMT in Oct and Black/Silver/White XMT in Jan 2012. I said big NO to all and waited all these days. Not sure if it was a wise decision but Im happy now that Im getting what my family and I wanted. That's my story.

woah! i spoke to a senior person today at Dakshin, he told me a diff story, said that there was a problem getting the silver XMT from Honda for some reason. They apparently never recieved any silver xmt's from Honda, and mine was supposedly the first silver xmt booking with them. I am going to pay a visit to the dealership tomorrow. this is heights.

Guys, been busy with my university exams. Well, congrats Harin. When we asked for freebie he said no freebie and only discounts. Well, we have opted for quite a long list of accesories. Teflon + Underbody + Reverse sensors + side protector + side step illumination + chrome rings = 25K. Quite a lot . Theg said its actual costs are over 35K and that they are giving it as discount to us. Really didnt wanted those scuff plates. They said its a package or so and finally Dad agreed.


Now, @Navin - Mate , i have also bookes Silver X on Aug 31st. We are pretty close eh. Mine has arrived and will be taking delivery this week. Thought only me and @Krishleo were the long waited guys. Now, you too joined the club. ;) . Call Honda One2One and complain. Its already quite a long. My problem was that my dealer wasnt getting any X's. Mine is the 2nd/3rd X after facelift. Else i would have got earlier.

i was given the same excuse too, dealer was'nt getting any XMT's, but the SA has promised that i would get the car in a weeks time. Have already placed a complain yest with Honda one2one. so will have to wait and see if i do get the car in a weeks time as promised.

Navin, ask your SA to show you the allocation email.Dealer will get the mail regarding allotment date and all. If at all the car has been dispatched, then the dealer will get the info , they will even get the VIN.So, i suggest you ask this to SA . Dont just taehis word. Ask him to show the mail directly to you.

Yes will be visiting the dealership tomorrow, will ask for the allotment email. The fishy part is, i was told by my SA that the car was dispatched on 6th April and to make the payment, and i would receive the car by 17th, later was told that honda never dispatched the car, there was a miscommunication.Later was told that it was dispatched last monday, today SA says that they still haven't received the car from Honda and that i will get by a weeks time.

I saw a Jazz with body coloured side protector in a Honda showroom recently & it was looking slightly out of place.I felt its really not required.

Honda calls it a Mode Package I think...

Well, the side protector is body coloured.For pics, wait till i get her. I have seen a picture somewhere. Will post that if i get it. Side step illumination and chrome rings , i hav will e photos. Will post that by evening. Its nothing. Just a chrome surround around the ac vents and speedo. Not really needed. We opted it as it was part of that package. Dunno i anything else is in that package. I will go to showroom today and i will confirm and i will reply then.
