Whoa[surprise] What happened? did it give any electrical issues or stopped functioning?

And what about the scuff plates?
I got this DRL for Rs: 3000/- got fixed from a local shop. it worked for 3 weeks and soon after it started to malfunction. I gave it for servicing in the same shop from where I got it fixed.

After the long waiting period of 1 month I got it back. It was working with no problems for 1 day. The very next day it stopped working. Waste thing. ( thank God, I did not cut any OEM wires)

I almost dropped plans for after market scuff plates, the reason is my experience from last purchase( DRL).

I will fix the scuff plates only if it will not affect any electrical wiring. I heard that it can not be fixed to driver side door since it has got many controls like central locking etc etc. there is chance for ECM to malfunction. I dont know if it is right.

Experts, please throw some light

So the problem lies with the wiring. Make sure that all the connections are restored back to the stock condition to retain warranty.

Now I am planning for another plan to integrate LED strip inside the DRL. How is that? [gun]

Again scuff plates put into account.

Yesterday I got my car after 3 rd service. ( from Vision honda thrissur from where I purchased the vehicle)
I reached there by 9.00 AM, instructed the SA to do this, that etc. ( Nothing much)
He said this time it is required to change the engine oil and filter. The car has clocked 4800 kms in 6 months of time. And I was amazed to see that I had changed engine oil during the 2 nd service.( It was done at cosmic Honda) and still they wanted to change the oil in 3 months of time.

I don't know if it is mandatory to change the oil for a period of 3 months. The car traveled just less than 1500 kms after the first oil change.

My dear City mates, what is your experience regarding this. Please post your experience.

When I argued about the 5,000 km/ 6 month period for the oil change, he said if the oil is not getting changed, it is going to affect the warranty.

I got the car back by 2.00 PM. And the bill amount was 1400/-
The car wash, which they have done (Vision honda) was better than Cosmic honda. they had cleaned engine bay, body under, interior etc. very neatly. I am very much satisfied with their work.

When I asked Cosmic honda about this oil change, they said it is not necessary, it can be done at 10,000 km service.

I am not very happy about this expenditure during the free service.[frustration]

I never checked tank to tank FE since I never got chance. I'll do it once I am going for the long trip . But I feel that I am getting a pretty good mileage for a petrol sedan.

But the MID shows city avg: 12-13 Kmpl with full A/C
Highway Avg: 16-17 Kmpl full A/C (Avg. speed 80-120kmph)
Highway Max: 21.7 Kmpl Without A/C (Avg. Speed 60-100 Kmph)

I hope there will be a '0.6 to 1 Kmpl' Variation from actual with respect to MID shown FE.

And when the i-vtec Kicks in at above 4500 rpm the FE drops to 10-12 kmpl.
But the feeling at those higher rpm as enthusiastic driver is extra ordinary and the exhaust notes are awesome.(Whrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) [evil]
