Just got back from the relainace autozone, went for fixing OEM wheel caps in my brio. Dealer was spot on regarding the nut issue. The wheel caps could not be fixed because size of hole in the wheel caps is larger than the nut size[frustration].

But I feel with a flat washer or spring washer of suitable size it can be tightened properly. But does it have any safety issue. Anyway now left thought of wheel caps in my brio may be after some years will go for alloys itself[;)].

Sorry moderator for the back to back post but it was difficult for me to wait, please merge it.

Yaaa HONDA logo is engraved in that.

Earlier when i inquired about the same with HONDA, they informed along with caps nuts are also required to be changed and for complete work they quoted me around 8K. But today when i asked the shopkeeper to confirm whether this wheel caps can be fixed with the existing nuts & bolts in EX MT, he informed same can be used.

Wheel caps can be fitted into the wheels unless the wheel cap holes are smaller than the wheel nuts.
Just check how well the wheel cap's steel rings are holding the wheels. If it is tight enough then you wont have any problem.

I have sent an email regarding the details of material and will call up if reply is not received by evening. However in the product details they have mentioned it is 99.5% water resistant and UV protected.

They have not mentioned the kind of material. Why don't you contact and ask them for more details.

Best thing would be to find a specimen at a local accessory dealer. Will give you a chance to find out the prices as well.

Where are you from?

You made up my mind to go to shop[clap], i will check at reliance autozone near my office. But don't know whether they will be having speedwav champion brand available. Also i am not sure if they will be able to tell me the type of material if it is not mentioned on the packet[;)].

Fabric covers are good if you have stilt parking. For outside a synthetic material is more suited. It will brave the elements better. There would be a lining for the inner side.

Yaa it does have an advantage but online we may get better discounts [clap]. Anyways i will check it[:)].

There are may auto accessories available at least in online market from speedwav. I was impressed with there claim of 99.5% water and UV resistant and other details mentioned in the product details. I checked up at different online websites too for same product.

I am required to park outside only in open[cry].

But you can check the material youself.Shopping in person does have its benefits. You know exactly what you are getting.
+10 to that. I have not heard of that brand but I can tell you it would be better if you could manage a cover built in fabric. Will not cause scratches and swirl marks

If you have coupons yes.But other wise shopping locally you can get better prices anytime.

The swirls are caused by the people who wash your car.The wash in a circular motion that's the cause.
