It seems you got the delivery of com-paint kit very late, was waiting for your update [;)]. Where did you order the motomax kit.

Do proper filling with COM-Fill on scratches before the spray paint and all the best buddy[:)]

Finally Got my Com paint last week to repair my scratches and someone had recommended Motomax Paint solvent and Liquid Polish to bring back the shine later , so ordered Motomax kit too to be used on other vehicles too , Finally I will be working on my Car soon , i will Post Results after i am done with the Job .

In my case I have observed that it is higher by 1 - 1.5 km/ltr that actual. As suggested by other member please try tankful method.

Friends i was looking for the wheel caps for my brio EX MT for some time now. Today i checked up for the same at reliance autozone and incidentally due to upgradation to alloy in HONDA amaze by somebody they have the used wheel caps. I checked one wheel cap , it has some minor scratches. Looks fine to me but he stated the price of 1000 Rs., after negotiations it came down to Rs 700. I asked him to install the wheel caps after painting the Rims to black paint but he refused and said it is not required. I have taken the shop person contact details.

Now i need suggestions:help: from you guys, whether at 700 bucks used OEM wheel caps are worth or not. Secondly can S MT brio owners can confirm whether rim are painted black in their brio.

Hi Manish,

Yes in SMT rim is painted black, I will check it once again and will update. But it looks like a black one.

I feel its rather cheap. 700 bucks. Ask the dealer he will surely tell double or triple may be. I think you can get it done. It has the honda logo engraved at the centre ?
I dont think you really need to paint the rims black. Not sure on this though.

Yaaa HONDA logo is engraved in that [:)].

Earlier when i inquired about the same with HONDA, they informed along with caps nuts are also required to be changed and for complete work they quoted me around 8K[anger]. But today when i asked the shopkeeper to confirm whether this wheel caps can be fixed with the existing nuts & bolts in EX MT, he informed same can be used.

Yes you are right but i have never unscrewed EX MT tyre and for installing wheel caps it is mandatory which definitely would be a laborious task. Why today i did not brought the car to office [frustration].

You can do a DIY if you have got the caps. Try it and then go to that guy if it doesn't come good [;)]

Yes corresponding bolts are required because they hold wheel cap tightly so do check if wheel cap hold tightly with existing bolts. The other advantage of SMT bolts are that they complement with wheel cap hence enhances the overall looks.
