Al rite got my insurance done @ magnum honda Kanakpoor, bargained like hell. Here are the good and the not-so good points

1. Bad part- Clowns decreased the IDV to 4 lacs , not sure why that is. IDV musta bin 4.3 lacs since mine is V(mt)

2. Good part- 12.2K INR(not 12.9K as shown) for honda assure+zero dep. Bargained 1 hr for wheel alignment/rotation, got offered free washing coupon in the end (See attachment)

Grt diy bro!! I tried removing the lug nuts but they just would not come off.

I have a Ut brio- not sure if blackened alloys look good?

of course- ur car has a mafia look! I just love white body with black alloys on them!!

4th service due by Dec end. ODO close to 16.9k kms. Guessing another 500kms of ride before i drop in for servicing.

Need to get the shocks & parts checked. Some kinda sound comes when i go over a speed breaker. Not sure what exactly the reason is.

Given for 4th service (18months or 30K kms) @ Whitefield H, with ODO @ 17230kms.

No major issues as such, asked to get suspensions checked. Estimate around 4k.

Service done. Total cost 3106/-. Engine oil changed, Oil filter changed, some consumables.

Suspension torque adjusted.

Yes, i got 2 years extended warranty & 4 years RSA as freebie.

Yea, Honda offer was going around at that time, Insurance @ Re1 & extended warranty & 4 years RSA.

In city with 75% AC , it ranges from 13.5-15.5kmpl, depending on traffic and road condition.

Highways, with 100% AC & 90-110 kmph , i've managed 18.5-19.2kmpl.

How is the IDV calculated? Is not it 5% less than ex-showroom price for new car?
