Completed 36 months service today, and did all checks as per Manual. ODO read 29959 kms.

- Regular service (Oil and Oil filter change)
- Transmission Oil change
- Spark plugs changed (was supposed to be changed at 24 months, but not done)
- Air filter change

Insurance Freebie utilized along with service [:D]
- Wheel Alignment
- Exterior Waxing

Total - 4812/- [clap]

As usual, SA tried to offer a few add-on services, but i verified the charges and said maybe next time [;)]. This i feel a better way to tackle these gimmicks rather than giving him a blunt reply and spoiling the relation.

- AC disinfectant (900Rs)
- Engine bay coating (850Rs)
- Fuel supply system cleaning (1880Rs)

I've kept the Honda NGK Spark plugs with me, will check their condition and retain them, maybe utilize in case of emergency.

How much the spark plugs costed you ? And i think spark plugs should only be changed if the car starts missing problem. They are generally cleaned by sand paper.

Ngk have taken over the market. Before this the champion brand was famous and used by the companies. Now everyone says to use ngk.

And yes a good way to avoid these useless items. If you feel there's some odour problem , buy a ac disinfectant can yourself. Will cost around 400 rupees one time use.

Retail price 91.3/-, amount for 4 including VAT is 419.89/-. I changed it as the manual had mentioned 24 months or 40k kms, and going through the records, i couldnt see it changed last year. AC, no smell as of now, hence tactically avoided it.

I used to give at Whitefield Honda body shop, service was good, just ensure that you know what is required and dont fall into their honey trap of unwanted add-ons.

Plus, do keep an eye on the Brake cleaning, which i feel is just an eye-wash.

Pics as promised, and on public demand for users reading pleasure. [:D]
Hi 'Breeze Aka Brio',

Thanks for your detailed post. I'm doing a research on Brio whether to buy it or not. How is your experience so far including the maintenance cost etc.? Is your vehicle registered in Pune? If yes, do you carry any documents if needed to drive in Kerala?

Welcome Aboard Sanchen to the TAI family. Wishing you a pleasant stay here [:)]

Indeeed, Brio (Peppy Pot) has been a wonderful car to drive around (touchwood).

I've shared the maintenance part in post #157, which includes everything you would need.

Vehicle is registered in Maharashtra, and have been driving across in India, without any problem. Anyways, visiting for a few days with all required documents keep one safe from the cops.

Brio, is almost at the end of its design life, and expect a new model to hit the market in 2017 (its still a good year to go, Yes!). But not to worry for the spares, as they would definitely be available for 4-5 years even after the product is withdrawn from the market. So, keep your check boxes ticking, and if the weight-age goes more to Brio, you would definitely fall in love with this peppy Honda machine. [:D]

I have got delivery of my Brio SMT silver. Want to know about AC coolness. Felt rather sluggish to me. AC was at level 3 but colling was not happening as desired. Is it the same in all Brios or could be issue with mine?

Yup, Brio does have some cooling issues, AC isn't that effective. Bigger Glass Area is the culprit I guess. Since you live in NCR, it's better if you park the car in shade before moving on. That'll make it easier for you during summers.

Rightly mentioned by Nishant, you need to give some time for the cabin to cool down after being parked under the sun. Once, the temperature stabilizes, level 2 would suffix for front passengers, but if there are people at rear, you would have to keep it at level 3.

Thanks. It does take time to cool things inside. Is it due to compressor size ? I spoke with Honda SA and he told me ac size is same as in Amaze. Dont know where the issue is.

Also, want to check about the gearbox. 2nd gear feels very notchy. So much that once downshifting from 4th to 2nd , it refused to engage. I have to stop the car at the side and then it got sloted. I always do full clutch press while changing the gears. Other days, shifting from 3rd to 2nd feels lot of work. Any solution to this issue? Have read that brio gearbox is little notchy for first few thousand kms.
