i saw you also running on Yoko S drive, they are doing their job really well, road grip and steering control are top mark,
i drove approx 26K KM with these yoko tyre in last 9 months, in my recent drive i noticed air bubble in my front right tyre, i changed it to back side for now.
that's something happened with me twice with YOKO,
first was a year back my i10 drove approx 26K in two years had approx 6 air bubble in 3 stock tyres! i changed all 4 tyres to appolo for safety, that car is with my parents, and mostly driven by drivers !
so my question, has anyone faced same issue with yoko tyres and what's root cause of these air bubble?

This could be a Manufacturing defect.
Tyres often have a warranty of 1 year. Sometimes more.
Please consult with your dealer if these can be replaced in warranty.

P.S- Whats the size of these? They're looking low profile in the pics.

This tyre is just 2 years old, manufactured in October 2014
yoko gives 72 months warranty period
https://www.yokohamatire.com/owners-circle/warranty
you can go for replacement

They won't go for replacement very easily,
they will try to convince you, or will try to find your fault,
stay firm and force them to replace,
bulging tire is a manufacturing fault, unless some third party patches are applied on that part.

Few of my friend's suggest Yoko S drives as almost all of them was happy about the Grip and Tire life ,S drive provided. And hence I also upgraded to it. I haven't yet got any problems with the tire neither my friend's.

This could be one of the two reasons
  • Manufacturing Defect
  • Hitting potholes at High speeds!

Has anyone upgrade to new amaze facelift bumper on the old amaze model?
Please give your inputs in the below thread.

Finally removed the Left side A pillar panel to check out from where the rattling comes. There are only 2 lock's for the A pillar panel and and several plastic moldings which in turn comes in contact with the metal body and hence those plastic moldings made those annoying rattlings.[frustration]

Thank you for the reply deville_56.

Another thing that confuses me is the honda extended warranty.
I have taken two yrs extended warranty for my amaze. Last day when I checked the extended warranty documents, there is a long list of areas and parts that the warranty does not cover. It is a very long list that it seemed none of my cars' parts dosen't comes under warranty.
Is there any difference with the standard two year warranty and the extended warranty that we are additionally purchasing.

The thing is that I'm having a popping sound when I turn my steering to the right.
The problem does not persists every time I turn but occationaly it happens and bothers me much about the problem.
Does anyone had that issue..? What will be the possible cause..?

I believe steering rack and gearbox are the only ones covered under extended warranty[confused]
Standard warranty will cover almost all parts expect wear and tear parts. Whereas extended warranty won't cover anything else other than the one's mentioned.

I haven't got any such issue with my amaze. Is the sound coming while on stand still or while moving ?

The sound is heard when I turn the power steering to the right after one full turn both while stand still and moving. It occurs occationally only.
I need to mention it seriously when I go to the service center as I'm still under standard warranty. The dealer tries very hard to avoid any warranty claim as it makes some sort of black mark from the company I suspect

Its the steering rack. My i10 and verna have the same issues and should be covered under warranty.

As allhyundaicars suggested, it would be the steering rack then. Do force them to check it and if it's needed do change it under warranty. Else it will surely be pretty costly.

Thanks for sorting that out allhyundaicars
Hopping that it would be covered under warranty. As Vishnu Vichu was saying above, it would also be covered under extended warranty as well☺
I will suggest you, not to wait that long. Replace it ASAP!

Yes I went to the service center yeasterday. They said they have lubricated the steering system and thats all.
I'm on a high doubt that they are just waiting for my warranty to get expired and after that, they might tell me to replace it out of my wallet.
As the problem initially occured and reported the same under warranty period, would I be able to replace it free of cost even if the warranty is over..?
Really confused
The service guys are just finding out ways how to make hige money frm customers.

There can be two versions for this :

Either they have fixed the issue and lubricated the whole system for good. Else, Yes they are waiting for your warranty to get over.

I don't think that you'll get this part changed for free once the warranty is over. They surely will come up with some blah blah blah.

Do one thing, Do check whether they have fixed it or not. If the problem persists , ESCALATE the issue to higher levels !!
