Hi Vishnu, How is the AC of the Amaze ?. I am contemplating to replace Wagon R with Amaze, Xcent, Jazz, i20 (any one of these). More information is available in TAI Auto Shopper Thread.

Cooling in Amaze is awesome. I always used to keep the blower speed on 1 even it's noon and there are all five on board. But during the summer times I used to keep the blower speed on 2.
While parked under the sun for a very long time,it takes around 5-7 minutes in full blower speed to cool the whole cabin down:)

Ok, thats good then because the AC on Xcent wasn't cooling quicky. I had set temperature to 18 degrees and fan speed was Max. It took its own time to cool. I think Heat Insulating glass on Amaze VX helps. I think the Amaze has slightly bigger Compressor then Brio. The only problem for us regarding Amaze is that i already have Brio, so the Amaze will feel like stretched Brio with a proper Boot.. Though both are fantastic. Jazz is also under consideration !!

Ac for amaze is pretty good. Coming from maruti alto( suppose to be one of the best ac's) I felt amaze is even better . its got enough to cover the entire cabin quickly .
I test drove brio . Brio=amaze except for amaze has got better cabin space with armrest n all and a much bigger boot.
Thanks guys.. Ya, waiting for Jazz makes Sense. Honda City is out of budget. The difference between Base Diesel City and Amaze is 1.5 lakhs. Family didn't like Etios. Also would be big as it is over 4m in length.

Go with these steps to be on safe side.
1. Wash with a good car shampoo. ( you can get a good one in 500 bucks easily like meguiars)
2. Clay (should cost in range of 500)
3. Polish (if required judging by the condition of paint). Meguiars Ultimate polish is a good one. Cost around 900 bucks.
4. Wax/Sealant ( As per your preference) A good carnuaba wax will cost you 1000-1500 bucks. Collinite 845 and Optimum spray wax are good ones.

I know. Honda didn't understood this, MRF is made for TATA vehicles because of their engine noise, it covers the tyre noise but its not the case of Honda's silent engine.
Michelin, Bridgestone, Yokohama & some other international brands are only suitable.
Of course these international brands cannot beat the toughness of MRF. Thats why those Indica do rough driving day & night.
That's a sweeping statement for Tata. Noise in Amaze is equivalent to noise in my Manza. And 80% of Manza came with bridgestone tyres or Apollo accelers, not MRF.
To upgrade Michelin is the best. Xm2 or Primacy 3st depending upon size.
Yoko A and C drives are good too.
I don't get the hate for bridgestone by many people. I have used them a lot and they were more durable than Yokos.

Sorry, I have no offence with TATA, its vehicles nor its owners. Please don't take me serious.
I just said TATA in regards to Indica which used to come with MRF and its engine noise would cover up tyre noise.
Of course all diesel engines makes pretty much noise and would be higher then tyres but its not the case for petrol engines so we need noise free tyres.
Even my City having Good Year's GT3 tyre which are very poor and noisy above 40+ speed. In stock the Micheline or Bridgestone is a best for any Honda car.

No worries.
I guess no one likes tyre noise. Be it petrol or diesel owner.
Though i am buying a diesel car i am going for Michelin 3st tyres mainly cos of their silent factor.
In my experience tyres rank like this-
Michelin
Yoko
Bridgestone
Apollo
MRF
Goodyear.
