Nah!! No manufacturer will provide this.

What you can call is Embossed IND plate, which would be better,instead of calling it as HSRP.

I paid 650/- for 2 wheeler and 950/- for car.

@allhyundaicars: Bro check out the first and the second page of this thread how much I paid for my those for my P180.[glasses] 900/- Now a days these have become cheap and costs around 600-700 I guess, but 150 noways...

Even I’m thinking to install the HSRP on both the cars. Any idea from where he plans to install them? South or Central Delhi region would be convenient for me.

i haven't asked him yet. you don't need to install these plates just yet [:D] this will go on for 3 years.

but still i'll update here with all the details. no worries.

Let me remind everyone. HSRP's are the plates provided by the RTO and fitted at the RTO fitting centre. Plates procured from anywhere else are just Smart Plates or Replica HSRP's. Once the HSRP rule is implemented, you will have to change them again. So don't waste money on the Replica's unless you just like the look of them.

The front plate of my car is broken. So I was thinking to install the HSRP instead of again getting another simple number plate.

Yes. Of course I know that. Presently there are only two RTO Centers in Delhi that too far from my place. There was news about six new centers opening soon, among which Vasant Vihar will be the nearest one for me. Not sure whether it’s functioning yet or not for HSRP.

Dealer deposited money at RTO on 23rd july

He says it will take atleast 20 days before my turn comes at installation center [anger]

Oh !! this looks happening already in Delhi and not there in AP till today. I have read High court and Supreme Court became very serious on AP government for not implementing so many times and put lot of deadlines, but it seems AP government tried to float tenders 3 times and got them cancelled due to the person whom they wanted to get this contract has quoted high and cartel corruption is not settled between government fellows and private parties.

It is a good move for security of the vehicles where they can be tracked with GPS easily.

ok so i got a message from my cousin, he said the dealers took the money of the plates from him ( he forgot to tell the amount ) and dealer will give a slip after 15 days and then he has to go to the rto to get the plates fixed.

i don't know how old cars will get the number plates :\

so he paid "241" to the dealer for the plates.
