I think the snap lock is sort of a like a crew which breaks when you try to remove the number plate such a way that it closes the hole that is made by the manufacturer to hold the number plate.
If the number plate breaks , you should go and inform the RTO.You think it like this way, what happens when your car's key is broken?

People rig so called tamper proof meters in auto's itself, this snap lock is a piece of cake for car thief's if you just take a look at the methods they use, come on !! These guys carry a ecu unit with them to get around the cars engine immobilizer.I have commented in #79 on this thread before about miscreants trying to remove my plates,so if we install this plate am sure breaking IND plates will become there fav pass time just like making graph markings on our cars. Some people get joy by damaging other peoples properties. But still this seems better than other weird numb plates used out there.
What is the due date for getting these number plates for your vehicles? And Since I am a new bee here so can anyone help me on how to start a new thread? I want to buy some new alloys for my car.
