Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!
Update:
Well the car is now just a few kms away to complete 16K kms mark. Well the car was not used/moved for more than five days continuously. Today morning after washing the car and reversing; I noticed that the reverse camera and the sensors were not working again. I thought that the reverse gear switch which was replaced a couple of months back might have gone kaput. Took the car to Modi without any appointments. They took the car in for a running repair. The following are the details of the complaints and the work done.
Reverse camera and Sensors not working:
When they removed the battery and the airfilter unit to get access the reverse switch; they found that some wire was cut by a rat. They joined the wires and the camera and sensors started working.
Driver Side seatbelt issue:
Driver side seatbelt would not lock properly many times. Also sometimes it would open up on its own. Although they checked it but I told them that it is issue for me. They agreed to that but the part was not available.
Rear suspension issue:
There was tak tak noise from the rear which had to be checked when the car is fully loaded with people. People here I mean
Punjabis. Recently a couple of times when my whole family was in the car. In slight bumps when the car used to jump; there was annoying tak tak sound. Every one in the car use to tease me. Although they checked the car by putting three people behind; there was no noise. I insisted them to get one more in. They clearly said that the rear seat is meant for only three and if you fill more passangers it will make noise. Here I told them that I will bring three people from my family to show the noise. Also told them that if they are not addressing this suspension issue; I am going to some other service station. Later they agreed to change the springs. But again as usual; part not available.
