Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

I can confirm that it does not give above 11-12 in city driving with A.C on.for Diesel. I too switched to it from Honda City Gxi.[cry]
Hi Amit, I was seriously in confusion whether to go for new verna diesel SX, that too for whopping 11 lacs, because i needed the car with Verna like Features and City Zx like space. I am 6' ft tall and the amount of space City gives me is awesome, i.e. even though i push my driving seat fully backward, then also there is a lot of room for the rear pasaanger. And 3 people can sit in the rear Seats with ease. But incase of Verna, 3 people cannot sit comfortably for sure. [frustration]

If anyone can help me then please do reply. I need Cityzx like space, Verna like features and Gud fuel efficieny (in diesel). Am i asking very much? [surprise]

Better to go for Nissan Sunny XV Diesel. It had City ZX like space, comfort and you get start stop button.Or else, try Verna.

The seat covers are looking nice in the night shots.

Congrats Gears1313 for that.
Thanks Mate!

No car will serve your needs all together. You will have to sacrifice on or the other aspect. If looks is not important then Sunny. If you want high ground clearance; go for SX4 Diesel. Vento and Rapid have costly and scary After Sales Service. We can go on and on with this debate. And at the end of the day; its your decision since your are going to drive it and you should at least feel happy mentally.[roll]
When I booked the Verna I knew the various problems like ground clearance; handling and suspension and all. But the features and looks won my heart. So I don't regret my decision but yeah the fe is low than expected.

BTW you can opt for CNG if you love your ZX. It will be more lighter than Diesel.

I guess the new Elantra should suffice your needs
Nah; I dont think so; because IMO no luxury car can seat three people comfortably at the rear. If you want three people to fit in, Logan/Verito or even Indigo is the answer.

Better to go for Nissan Sunny XV Diesel. It had City ZX like space, comfort and you get start stop button.Or else, try Verna.
+1.[thumbsup]

Well legroom should not be problem with verna also. Mine family is of average height. And i can confirm we do not lag leg space and the space is more than honda city. 3 persons easily seat on rear seat. only problem is that the rear centre seat has bulge due to bucket seats.

I have done a highways trip from Lucknow - Delhi - Lucknow with 4 adults and 2 kids all of good health and nobody complained for any reason at all.

I also don't find any issues regarding the legroom; but yeah three people cannot sit comfortably(as they could sit in my DZire) because of the center arm rest and all. But for short trips one can always adjust.

Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

Came back from office and there was no parking in my area. The parking was full. Usually we do double parking next to the car; which leaves enough place for a big sized SUV to pass like Innova or XUV or Q5. But there is a risk too; since people here drive crazily. Also cant sleep peacefully the whole night because we have to be aware about sirens like Fire brigades and Ambulances since there are slums next to our locality whose entrance is from the street where we live.

Nways so rather parking in a double lane; I got some space to park diagonally outside my building's gate. Enough space for building guys to pass their bikes. Here one of the four tyres is on the foothpath. I hope this will not harm the suspension of the car. The car will be taken out in the morning only. Here are the pics.

And notice the fog in the headlight in the indicator area.

Please share your views regarding this type of parking.

i guess it may add some stress to the suspension as well as the tires, i dont know about the long term effects though let some gurus help out.

Well I see so many cars parked this way in bandra and even chembur on daily basis . Are you planning to park it on daily basis or was just for today ? How were you parking you'r dezire before ?
And gears is there no plain surface where you can park ?[:D] maybe you can request other owners and get some space .

No. I do not plan to park like this on daily basis. There was no parking any where so got into the slot diagonally only for yesterday.
This was the second time I am parking like this. And we usually park on plain surfaces one behind the other.
My DZire was parked at the same places where now the Verna is parked, but Verna takes a feet more space than DZire.
And yeah we usually request other owners to do some adjustment and they too come to my place to call me to take the car little front or back; and I do it willingly. If we have to live together in one are we have to co operate.[roll]

Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

Yesterday night after returning from office; saw this![shock]
Fog inside headlight.[anger]
Actually the whole day it isnt there; but at night when we switch on the lights; the heat generated creates fog from the water inside. Now dont know when I will go to the ASS they will accept it; because it happens only at night. Check out the pics.[roll]
