Congrulations to All Siera Owners! This is the real SUV and real Muscle! I remember One of our relative had Siera and Estate both of them when I was a Kid, I was so amazed with both of them since then! I will be happy to Have one, only If Tata reintroduces Siera! I will be the first one to book .

Hello Vikram welcome to TAI , great pictures there , we too owned a Sierra for around 10 years before we sold it.

Now he is due for his oil change.

Dont know how i covered 7000kms with no major highway drives.

tyres are now in worst ever condition.

Some 2 weeks before felt some unevenness in brakes. esp in rear.

Opened up the rear drums and found one brake cylinder to be jammed and no leak.
planned to get two cylinder and replace. each costing 500/-

Just asked in spares does he have kits for it. voila he said yes and i got 2 rubber kits set for 100 each.

on opening the brake cylinder back in my garage , one was of different model inside and both were similar exterior.

so one kit was used only half ,

the jammed cylinder had all the rubber things it needed

And was surprised to find , the brake shoe was revert type.

Now brakes are good. The only thing worries is the tyre. skid even with lightest press of the brake.

Day by day the need for body work also increases.!!

Changed oil today.
Mobile -devlac , 15w 40 7.5 lit , 1700/-
oil filter , 140/-
diesel filter 100 each . need two , but bought only one.


Old oil was good , and didnt smell burnt and had good viscosity too. Good sign , am a happy man!

while i took my safari for service tomorrow . i asked them cost of engine oil they said 2200 ? so is it synth or natural they are using synth if yes how could its so cheap or if its natural then how did they increased 15k gap O_O
