Hi Ilango,
First of all many many congrats from me for your new car. Now both of us can exchange our ideas. I know i am very poor in that.
Well i see the belt problem what you have mentioned. Which i was facing till now what i have posted in my thread.
As per the specification of the Vehicle the belt number is:
6PK1640I well my is a Standard Sierra not Turbo.
I hope this helps u.
Well do update about your sierra.
My Temperature meter is not working at all.
Thanks
thanks mate , !!
Hope the belt problem for you is wrong placement of ac manifold , as you said in the other thread
yeah the ac and fan drive belts are 6pk belt both in std and turbo!
for me the other belt , that drives the power steering and the alternator.
was giving trouble.
we thought the belt is already tight and noise was due to some other reason.
but just gave a little more tightness and the belt noise stopped.
now its fine - lets see for how many day!! hehe
Temp meter need to be working in any car , as it helps us to drive caustiously.
Hope the same reason made you engine back compression .
