The logic behind low blower speed is "As the hot air passes through the cool pipes (or coil I should call it) the lower the speed of air the larger the time it gets to get cooled". So in higher blower speeds the air gets lesser time in contact with the coil (AC pipes or whatever) and hence low cooling affect. I cannot prove this but mechanics have this logic behind the low blower speed saying.:)

congrats now its time to change

consider some of the mods that i say

put custom lights at the rear and front headlamps too.
Try projector ones
change the grill , or just take that out and try to make a small mesh and make it chrome
Front and rear bumper bar needs to be replaced. this car can actually be a head turner

mod work later on in my sierra. , loaded with some mod work for now.

update:

the alternator belt has worn out.
yes i did changed them couple of months back.
may be due to constant removal of powersteering pump and alternators? or irregular fixing?
no idea , or due to wrong belt size last time.

in the car it was 1013 - belt size and i bought the same replacement.
mech said , it need to be broader. as he expected , it did worn out.

confused ..

bought a 3015 belt size . yet to fix .
broader , but some cms shorter in length.

will fix them in morning!!

yeah true get the engine part done first then you can do the other stuff

you sure its wrong size. Because belts do wear out when the Aircon compressor is putting too much load and there are chances of them to stop rotating as well which means the belt will just slip past it resulting in breaking of the belt.

Alignment can be the issue too.

3015 is not fit lenghtwise.

searched my garage and got 1020 fitting in.
what i wanted is wider bel to run over. so meaning size 30 is breath.
3015 is shorter , but 1020 is exact

so what is need is 3020.

will be hunting for them!!

Glad to know that AC issue is fixed finally! Now when i visit Pondy next time atleast i will get a good ride in Sierra with AC ON![lol]

Finally got a belt 1060 , but the thing is we wanted a wider one , it slightly touches the side of other drive belt.
:(


Driving with that.

Procedure to be followed now.

1. wait till heater cut off.
2. once cut off , crank the engine.
3. after start wait for the belt to stop the noise. yeah the belt makes creech sound and the rpm will be below the 800 mark rpm.
4.suddenly the rpm raises till 1.2k rpm and the belt noise stops.
5. fit for drive.

switch on ac and headlight all together , the creech sound appears again in low idle . some times carries away till normal driving rpms too. just leave the accelerator and push again , the belt noise stops.


Does anybody here knows the exact belt sizes to be used.



And the drive with manza. ,

In a free road , the manza with 5 people on board and sierra with 3 people on road ,
manza was driven with ac and mine without ac(since it was started just 5 min back , didnt want to hear the creech noise!)

i was pushing my pedal to catch the manza , it was like hell driving for others in car.

atlast i caught the manza at 80kmph. hehe. but i suffered damn bad acceleration .

typing and thinking , should i have retained the accent[evil]?

Ilango what is the screeching noise that comes from the car.
It comes from my neighbhors Mitsubishi Lancer, when he moves of from stand still.
