Good you are at peace dear. Form 22 is the road worthiness certificate issued by manufacturer. It is given to RTO along with attested cover-note and address proof on which the vehicle needs to be registered.

Do let me know if I can help you further dear.

You may read about more details here.

Hi SlashInv,
First of all congrats for your car. Enjoy the miles and drive safe.
You can write dealership experience while buying your car. By the way which dealer is this in Pune?

A doubt: Can I remove the Pinch Guard feature in power windows?

While randomly browsing the web, I came across the following quote

next he walks up to my side and starts saying something, as the window is closed i dont hear.
i roll the window down a few cms by that time another guy on a bike comes and jumps off. He is in a full on argument mode, he yells and hits the windscreen with his fist with all his might.
[...]
I quikly pull the power window shut ensuring the first guys finger are still there and are getting crushed.
next i lower he window enough for him to remove the fingers and and drive off.
I don't intend to crush anybody's finger or anything but what happens if someone is trying to remove my car keys through the window and the freaking pinch guard rolls the window back down?

Hope I'm relevant to the topic

Red Blinking in honda city vxmt

It has been a week since i am using my honda city vxmt petrol.

Today morning i saw a red blinking light under brightness control knob.
As soon as i enter in the car it stops blinking, if the car is locked i can see from outside the blinking in the dashboard. I have made a complain and am waiting for honda technician to call me back.
Has anyone faced same problem?

Buddy this is firstly no issue at all. Don't worry. The blinker is that of the locking alarm. When you lock the car it blinks which means the alarm is in "working" condition. Where as when you open it the blinker stops which means alarm has been "dis-engaged". No technical help needed for the same buddy. Also, do not try to de-activate it as its a feature for car's security.

The helpdesk are sadly not well informed. They have a standard script to follow and at any opportunity shirk their responsibility. As of the Demo, it is just a formality for the SA. He/she shall expect you to be conversant with the car to a good extent by yourself by reading brochure.

Re: Red Blinking in honda city vxmt

Got a call from local branch , told me sir it could be immobilizer or maybe your remote key is near to car thats why it could be blinking. Also said it was normal and it happens for few minutes and will go away.
I told him i locked in night and it was still flashing till morning. He asked me did you have any road side assistance taken , i told him it has been merely a week since i purchased it why should i be asked for this. He said in future if you will face this kind of a problem then you can opt for RSA for all this (looks like he was selling me the plan).
Anyways he told me someone will visit tomorrow since no technical person was there .

Yes its normal. The ecu adjusts the required rev accordingly so the car do not stall. All modern car ecu's are equipped with anti-stall mechanism so if you leave the accelerator, still the car will maintain a basic speed.

Re: Does a car not slow down with accelorator off ?

I am not sure about it but I guess its somewhere around 10-15 kph in Grand in second and around 20 kph in third cog. Rest its normal as already mentioned by Samba, this is just there to prevent the engine from stalling.
