Vipul Sirji,I was stuck at your Wagon R 1.1 versus Celerio comparison for a while.I owned both and I also have the 1.2 K Swift.Suddenly the comparison between torque/power/ride ability all went for spins in my head. Although the engine capacity matters with respect to power, the transmission system also play in the picture.Wagon R 1.1 had a notorious shift of gears whereas Celerio shifts like butter smooth. The 1.1 had the grunt but the body style and the weight made the engine look feeble.Where as Celerio is like a tuned body builder, with less weight and more power. In fact the 1.1L engine in Wagon R and Celerio Vxi 998CC churns out exactly 67BHP.So,my take is that the transmission, weight and tuning also plays the part with the car becoming more fun to drive. As for me,the Petrol engine in Swift and Ritz (1.2K) is more fun to drive because of the better gear system,VTVT (?) .Still these are heavier cars and the extra bhp produced makes it not much of use. The best will be when you put the 1.2k in Celerio. Then it becomes a pocket rocket. This is not likely to happen as the same engine had gone in to Baleno. Nice to read your observations.
