Today again got a call from the dealer that the people from Ford are coming to the dealership and asked me to bring my car again. But not going to them.

The workshop is very much pathetic with everything in open and the customer sitting area is like a jail.

But I managed to get some great freebies job done by just some setting with guys over there.

Hi Anuprav,

Is the car dealer is Harpreet ford in Moti nagar????
Actually I am also planning to book my Figo 1.4 duratorq titanium on coming saturday from above mentioned dealer, but after your feedback for this dealer I think its better to search for another dealer in delhi.
Please recommend me whether should I buy figo or not as there are lot of problems coming in your vehicle [frustration]

@ Vibhor it harpreet ford. Yes I will be going there regularly as other dealers are far off.

@ Nik frankly speaking its a good car but some theething faults I will recommed if you can go for other vehicle

On 06.07.2010 I took my car to Ford again as service manager from Ford India has come for my vehicle. The problem was attended very promptly and the test drive for 35 KM was taken.

Mr. Amit was very cooperative. Now the car is performing good.

Mr. Amit has directed the Harpreet Ford to do the mileage test according to my suitable date.

During discussion Mr. Amit told that ford has already sold 25000 FIGO's and another 10000 bookings are in hand.

Earlier petrol and diesel ration was 25% & 75% and now he says that its 50% & 50% of both.

Gear strucking in between is not good at all.
I think gear box need to be rectified.
How come a brand new car facing such problems?
I think the Hydraulic fluid in the clutch as well as gear is not recirculating properly.
Have a check on this.

Gear stucks happens due to improper engagement of gears too. So if it happens rarely it isnt a serious issue, but may be a result of our driving habit. But if it happens often, then as mukesh said gearbox needs to be inspected soon.

@ Mukesh and Akash The thing i said happens very rarely maybe once a month and i face it only while engaging first gear.

First of all congratulations on your buy. It is looking great in Diamond White. Even I am also planning to book a Figo 1.2 ZXi ( either White or Chill). It is great to hear that your issues have been attended by the Ford Officials. They are atleast trying to improve their A.S.S. Good for the buyers.

How is the pulling issue now ? Did you have the latest mileage update(tankfull method) ?
What is the DTE reading if you fill your Figo till the first cut off ?

Yes rightly pointed out I have listed my FIGO for sale.

Everything is fine with car.

I am planning to upgrade it to a SEDAN may be ETIOS.
