I used to get calls from the dealer and today again I went to the dealer at 9 AM. They had sent the driver for the pick of the car. They again did the allignment.

Apart from this they are not looking or thinking of any other problem which might be the cause of the pulling.

They wanted me to fill the customer satisfaction form which I denied that I am not satisfied so why should I fill it.

Already sent three mails with reminder but no reply. One mail sent to the person who is looking after my complaint, second mail to custmail ID and third one to the president email ID which is mentioned on the website of the FORD and fourth mail as a reminder to all but not a single reply from anyone and least any calls from Ford India.

I have given then 10 days notice that either replace the car or I go to the court.

What an experience (A Figo Experience) with a Brand New Car.

Thinking of changing it and going in for another car buy.

That is so unfortunate Praveen; Do you have the contact number of person who is supposed to handle your issue? You should directly get in touch through phone instead of mailing them or write to a senior official.

This is so sad to hear the service your dealer is providing to you. And worst is they are not replying, this must be frustrating.[frustration]

Just give sometime to Ford. Also when you remind them again, give them links to this thread and similar, if you have posted to other forums.

I think the wheel alignment issue is known for initial figos. I don't know why they are not accepting that.

I dont think this is an issue related to allignment. If it would have been, then the problem would have been solved after the first allignment itself. I would suggest you to call up the ford guy since you are not getting response of your mails.

Well yeah even i suggest you keep in touch with them through phone. Just don give up yet , remember our member Peter who faced lot of problems in FE with his new Alto. Patience always pays.

Why not try checking the wheel alignment outside at a reputed tyre dealer?

Also i suspect maybe even the tyre to be a problem here! Is there any vehicle with which you can exchange the tyres and see even if still the problem persists?

Why don't you try to get the wheel aligned outside. I am sure there will be lot of dedicated wheel alignment centers in Delhi.

Really speaking, that is your only issue, isn't it?

Yes this is the issue but there are other issues also cropping up like rear wiper not working (faulty), problem in shifting of gear, it get stuck in between.

I am also thinking of getting the wheel alligned outside.

If the gear getting stuck in between is very rare then its not a very serious issue. Even the gear gets stuck in between for my Safari and Verna rarely!

The gears usually get stuck in between when the engine is not at the optimum revs and we try to shift gears OR when we try to shift gears with the clutch not pressed properly. It can happen sometimes when we try to shift to higher gear at lower speeds.
In some cars, the gear lever vibrates but falls into the gear while in others it snaps back to neutral.

I too have faced these issues in my Figo. In fact, I have faced this issue in lot of geared cars I have driven. In my case, it is the declutching too early that causes this issue. I sometimes try to declutch and accelerate in parallel with virtually no time in between and it could get to this situation then.

There might be other reasons why this happens, the above is just one of them and from what I have experienced.

Has your car been through its first service? All these issues can be rectified then.

It may be due to some loose connection or a faulty wiper motor. Since yours is a new car, motor replacement wont be an issue since its under warranty.

problem in shifting of gear, it get stuck in between.
This too isnt a serious issue. It is due to driving habits too. It happens with new cars normally since our feet is not familliar with the clutch due to which sometimes it doesnt get fully depressed leading to stucked gears.
It may sound wierd but it happened to me with every new car of mine. The clutch position of Indigo and City are quite different due to which i got the gears stuck up many times.
The only way to avoid this is to carefully depress the clutch before engaging the gear, the problem will disappear as you get used to this habit.

the clutch were bleeding so it was due to that I was having difficulties in shifting of gears.

Yesterday I got my first service done and the charges paid for Engine Oil Rs.680, Filter Engine Rs.116 and Plug Oil Drain Rs.59

The problem of Hand Brake not effective was brought to their notice and the problem in gear change. The clutch was bleeding.

But the problem of pulling is still there.

Today again got a call from the dealer that the people from Ford are coming to the dealership and asked me to bring my car again. But not going to them.

The workshop is very much pathetic with everything in open and the customer sitting area is like a jail.

But I managed to get some great freebies job done by just some setting with guys over there.

What’s the name of workshop and where’s it located? But even though it is not in any good condition, you must at least go there once and get the car checked otherwise the small issue might turn into big problem later.
