Re: ANother Joke at Harpreet Ford - Car is Old hence the noise

Another issue could be the throttle position sensor, if this sensor goes wrong too the rpm will fluctuate as the ECM dosent get correct feedback of the throttle position it will shift rpm on a cyclic basis based on some erratic pattern
SO it could be a throttle position sensor issue as well

Again these are my diagnosis, [confused]

Regarding the JOKE, I agree with that most Ford technicians are jokers , rarely we find a well informed and genuine technician among European car brands
Even Honda and Hyundai has jokers , have laughed so much after hearing some of their PATHETIC explanations [lol]
Guess what I found another guy who is facing same issue since 2013 at Harpreet Ford. Exactly same. Same Service manager and he never shared other person suffers fro precisely same issue.

I had a call with him and he also agreed they simply saying nothing wrong.

THEY KNOW THERE IS AN ISSUE DOING AN EYE WASH. SOMETHING IS FISHY>

Buddy -They say nothing wrong. ETB they last time replaced and said it was gesture to satiesfy me. While nothing was wrong with car.

I think you should just go to an experienced local mechanic and ask him check or Mahindra First choice or Bosch service etc.

I feel its either the engine cooling radiator fans system thats gone faulty or the AC system issue. Is your AC running fine. When therz fluctuations, AC should switch off and on.

Have they checked earthing for the engine cooling systems.

Bro AC is fine. They did not check any damn thing except laptop test which runs the software.

They did not even ONE OPEN THE HOOD. I will sell this car. But let others know about Ford. 2 people is my office booked WRV/Breeza thanks to my tales. [lol]

This is FORD.[clap][clap]

I am thinking for launching FIND DEFECT AND GET PAID 50K. Off course we will claim from Ford via Consumer Court. Just kidding...

Its disappointing the way things have unfolded. They could not diagnose simpler minor problems. I hope the new owner will be atleast able to find out the root cause and solve it.

So which car now?

Just wanted to quote you for your incidence.
I have a friend with S-Cross and his symptoms were exactly the same - RPM fluctuations without any extra load (AC or amplifier) and loud noise whirring noise (Blower kind of noise). The defect turned out to be a faulty wiring harness. If you have been contacting ford, and no response has come from there end, try reaching out through social media.

The product is not crap, you just got a lemon.

New Ecosport facelift spotted in Brazilian web page

2018 Ford EcoSport (facelift) listed on Ford Brazil website

Big news is the new 1.5l i3 TiVCT engine, its the new Dragon series 1.5l petrol engine making 137 HP with flex fuel and 158 NM torque, with regular fuel around 133 HP and around 153 NM torque can be expected

Also SYNC 3 if it makes to Ecosport its sure to set the benchmark for infotainment systems of any car under 20 lakhs,
Seems like Ford has what it takes to make the facelift Ecosport a big success, now what we need to see is will they deliver or make a half heart attempt.

Thats why each time they ask from where I got my Ambiene Lights attached and also called dealer.

I had raised via social media. I am dealing with UNETHICAL, CHEAP PEOPLE HERE. Read next post how nasty they can get to harrass someone

Simply read email exchanges and you will know what I mean.

Ford NEW LOW - IF I SUFFER due to STRESS _ FORD WILL BE RESPONSIBLE.

Strange or shocking bit it, FB and Twitter of US,India, UK all updated with these incidence, still they acting cheap.

In a new cheap trick, I took Monday -Tuesday as off from ofifce and they did nothing. Now only offering appointment on Thursday and misrepresenting that I asked for it.

I had clearly told SM I am out of town next week and thus they doing it to put onus on me that I was unavailable.

THEY KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG - I agree with wiring thing can be potential, thats why they checked wiring as well last time. But not gonna accept it as it will be 3 years of incompetence getting proved.

THEY ARE SICK MUST SAY THAT.

So are every brand dude, see just dont think that Ford is the only brand with such issues, even I had a lot of issues with the ever famous Maruti Suzuki , but since there were like 10 service and sales outlets here in my city one of them somehow found the issue and still they couldnt fix it but found a temporary solution(it was a car bearing issue) it still popped up here and there and was frustrating at times, but see how much Maruti customer satisfaction for Maruti brand is for a huge pie of our population
Again I think I have mentioned about my friends Linea as well, the gearbox still defective and even now after 3 years he still drives it with the issue

Skoda Octavia Pulled By Donkeys In India - DriveSpark

here is the ever famous reliability king Toyota

Skoda Octavia sedan owner in India gets donkeys to pull car

https://www.complaintboard.in/complaints-reviews/toyota-etios-l125714.html

See there are lot of issues but I agree Ford is not perfect either it too does have issues

I can understand the frustration and owner has to face but reality is its not just Ford, @Esmaniac has suggested friends Honda and Hyundai or some other brands as well right, but whats so sure that they will be trouble free.

I have the feeling that Modern cars have become so Complicated & messy and keeping them Niggle free is such a Mystery.. They have become sort of Computers on Wheels and we all know how buggy computers are (Esp Microsoft walas).

Its not just ford. Even the latest BOMB PROOF toyota has been having niggles with Crysta. Check TPB threads.

Yes thats right, old Marutis,Toyotas,Hondas gained customer trust because they were simple machines and were simple to diagnose and less electronics and more of man intervention, I will admit that European and American brands still are not Japanese perfect with their machinery but they are far better from what they used to be.

In our TAI Ecosport thread I guess this is the 5th major issue reported so far
2 being engine related, most other issues seems to be sorted out or has had solutions.
So reliability wise Ford still far from perfect but when compared to competing brands its on par with course

Anyway I feel this issue is something that can be sorted out and completely eliminated with a well informed mechanic

Buuddy you can also check out XUV threads and the sea of niggles that owners are facing. Including me.

I guess the heat of competition has forced manufacturers to cram in Way too many features into limited space,Power & Budget. If you open XUV wiring it will be enough to go from Kashmir to Kanyakumari!

On the other hand, my Humble i10 Limited ed has Zero issues even though its 8 year old car and much basic than XUV.

Same here with my humble 2010 Ford Figo petrol, its 7 years old now, still going super strong, not much has changed and its still a joy to drive, even service costs are really cheap, and car gives good efficiency and ride quality and handling are easily the best for any FWD car south of Rs 30 lakhs, yes even if one get a FWD car at 30 lakhs , it wont handles as good as my 4.57 lakhs on road humble Figo, except maybe the Linea and Punto and the Punto Abarth.

And lack of lot of features and big electronics means my car is simple and easy to deal with as well,so reliability wise I think its a hit or miss for any car buyer nowadays,
