I think except for the Tit+ Auto which could have been priced a bit lower, these are excellent prices in line with expectation. Also comparing with base variants of Brezza is wrong as they dont have LDI variants of Brezza is very Bare bones, doing feature wise comparison and quality of the product I feel this is VFM pricing.

With these prices, ES doesn't disturb the market at all.

Nexon AMT has a good chance of going for the kill, with their VFM pricing.
Now Nexon AMT in both Diesel and Petrol needs to go for the kill. Dont know what Tata Motors will be doing?
A proper Diesel automatic transmission is yet to arrive in this segment. Talking of AMT, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza can easily be equipped with a AMT, but Maruti Suzuki is still very reluctant.
The Diesel Titanium+ is priced lower than the Petrol AT Titanium +. Considering the Fuel economy figures, the decision now gets very confusing

Best part is how can people compare Brezza ZDI+ pricing directly with Ford Diesel Tit+ . Feature wise a Trend+ Diesel gets whatever is there in the Brezza ZDI+

Great job by Ford, to continue with the outgoing prices. Why fix something that is not broken. With the more powerful and fuel efficient petrol engine, and added features in the new version, the new Ecosport is more value for money.
The Trend+AT is a good addition,great VFM, and I am sure that would be the version to go for for most of the automatic buyers. Though, its not going to impact the sales of Brezza and Nexon, who have their own strengths, Brezza being the brand and the Nexon's pricing, it is still going to have its own market, of those who want Ford's handling and better build quality. This month's low sales of the Ecosport would surely be recovered next month.

Yes, Feature wise, the prices are very justified and variant to variant feature distribution is just spot on.

Best part is how can people compare Brezza ZDI+ pricing directly with Ford Diesel Tit+ . Feature wise a Trend+ Diesel gets whatever is there in the Brezza ZDI+
Ford Ecosport is incomparable variant to variant in its segment. Vitara Brezza is very poor when it comes to features in variants other than ZDI+. A Diesel monocoque compact SUV with automatic transmission is still awaited.

Anyone knows the interior of Trend+ AT? I need to see the modes on the gearbox since it does not have paddle shifters

Trend+ is only PNRD without sports mode. Or maybe there is sport mode with shift with buttons on the gear lever.

Well I have a mixed response in regards to the pricing of the new Ecosport. In one way I am happy that the prices have remained the same but on the other hand was expecting the prices to go down since it has become a 3 cylinder engine now and also the localisation levels are up to 85% or more.[confused]
I was never concerned about the Automatic variants so won't comment on the pricing of those.

But you 6.5 Inch touchscreen and other goodies even in the lower variants, so If one does a feature to feature wise comparision it is VFM.

It will have the old gear shift lever like in the old Ecosport AT with the toggle switches on the sides i guess. And the Trend+ AT will have a 6.5 inch touchscreen will most the features of its bigger 8 inch cousin like Android Auto and Apple Car play (Take that Vitara Brezza). Basically i think the Trend+ AT is VFM.
I myself will look forward to buy a compact SUV with Automatic transmission but the fuel economy figures concern me to go for a Petrol AT

If Trend+ AT has only PRND then it'll be a problem for inclines where we need higher power. Usually, other cars have an L mode if I remember correctly.
