Fiat free camps and service. (8280km)

fiat is conducting free camp all over india. nice effort.

my punto too attended the camp today.

nice experience, they checked somewhere around 40+ things in punto,
oil topups, cleaning ,wash .

AC blower and filters cleaned .

pointed out clutch getting harder infrequently .

they checked clutch and said looks ok and if it occurs again then just an oil change would sort it .

it was heavy rush in service centre too many puntos and lineas at a time...felt homely .....wow.

nothing much got as gifts (expected a surprise) except pack of tissue paper and two a4 size punto wallpapers

post service experience:-
punto was as clean as brand new, the punto gotten more silent (maybe oil topup or change) with windows rolled up .

blower threw out storm, instant chilling of cabin is back again.

punto on 8280km ,
going good. no niggles ,rattles or any issues.running tough and solid on road.

so far no issues thanks to everything and everybody.

not a single paisa spent yet for servicing or anything else.

(once there was a battery flat due to blower fan running inside overnight my brother slept inside , the technicians charged rs.200 as they were not from RSA)

sorry point city96..she is not yet with me but with my younger brother.
it was his experience i put here in words. anyway he takes care of her better than me...much glad for that.

both of us share almost identical taste in field of cars. after rolls royce we both second to fiat. for its unending contribution to auto industry especially. former one is a bench of luxury and a reference for how an ultimate car should be. later one fiat is benchmark for simplicity , engineering economy and FE and everything else.
rest of the manufacturers we believe either gimmick or follow these two in thier respective segments ...with bits and pieces of fine tuning...

Jayadev, too late on this thread, but after reading the whole thread over a period of 2 days, I am so excited and eager to have my hands on GP too!

Congratulations on the lovely write up and routine follow-up posts! As someone said on the thread it is among the best threads I have read and came straight from the heart.

I just believe that Cars are like your alter egos. No one would pick a car which does not conform with their psyche. Punto has a richer and s##y feel, which a petrol head would not mind any day!

exactly ,rather than a machine or bunch of metal a car is more of an extended limbs for us at the benefit of added luxury.
so it must perform and execute as suitably as possible for an individual to make out best of it. punto fits the bill almost perfectly with excellent ride,handling,features and stunning looks.
i am much glad owning it, so it reflects in my write ups.
