Thats terrible to know. Good that all are safe.

bumper is all gone,bonnet crippled,radiator is bent touching the engine,coolant leaking, intercooler also bent,left headlight broken,left fender damaged.

Looks front collision.
But the damage is recoverable, don't worry.

I spoke with Jayadev few days back. The car is now at Injambakkam Concorde and the estimate they have given for the car is around 1Lakh and it will take a month for them to bring the car back on road!

IMO that is exorbitant cost. We had a flash flooding in Pune last year oct, and had 3 Santros totally (read - totally) submerged under water in our basement parking. All 3 of them were refurbished and most of the things were changed for somewhere around 55-65 K per car.

Only thing is the cars were 2-3 years old.

Till you know what all things are damaged, don't speculate that price is high or not.

Yeah wait guys even i don't know what are all the parts that are damaged and going to be replaced. Let's wait till Jayadev tells us the details , we cannot conclude anything before that.

Agreed with RSM too. Let him come back with exact parts and things replaced and then we can continue with the argument.

Although I just feel bad for him and the car. That is like a major accident, if just plainly going by the cost.

almost in all the light end up in front , theses thing need to replaced.
have attended loads of car with similar case!

there is nothing else to be damaged . any how only after seeing the car in real anything can be concluded. still 1L is toooooo high

yes she was worth caring. and after the incident she recieved much more respect.

please find attached pic taken at accident spot at Vellore (minnur ).

please note the tire marks on road where brakes were applied.the truck was going on left lane from where he suddenly changed lane ,there by to avoid collision i had to brake and change my lane to extreme right , hitting tractor tire(tire only) which was left unattended(probably by villager ) .

punto was towed from vellore to concorde injambakkam chennai covering 200km the driver charged Rs.15000.

The roads are beautiful, its unfortunate it happened with you.

indeed roads are worth appreciation.,did not come come across a single pot hole or damaged road in 300km stretch.
