All have failed due to IHM (Indian Herd Mentality). Just goes to show you are not a part of the herd. I'm surprised the A-Star slipped through the herd's net.
Agree with P3T3R about herd mentality. And why only cars & movies, people have herd mentality about clothing too.....they say like this is in & something is out .
Btw, in your list above, Chevy Cruze can't be called as flop. Only A Star & Aveo can be called flop.
Anyways, Chevy is bringing in Sail to replace aveo uva.
Most of the ARIAs are book in the second half of the month and due to many govt holidays they are not registered and sold yet. People want registration in new year 2012 so they were waiting for the new year to take the delivery of a new vehicle..
Lets see in Jan 2012 how many units Aria will count (this is important)...
Anyways, we will wait for the Jan '12 figures to come in. Though I am still not sure it will do any great numbers. The Aria needs a massive price revision.
Dealers already had plenty of Arias in their stock, the purpose of discounts was to clear all 2011 stocks, so though 244 fresh units were shipped you never know the exact sales.
^^ Aria - 244 units in Dec and 497 in Jan doesn't it look like a huge improvement ? From a sales perspective, it looks like the jump in figures is a good sign.
Just out of curiosity what is the figure that sets the bar for number of units sold ?
