…… Yes, instruction is not well written. I dilute 40 ml (+/- 10ml depending upon how much foam or cleaning ability I need ) into 4 ltrs of water. I keep shampoo level low to prevent stripping of wax or high when I want to apply fresh wax.
I would love to hear from DR. about his preferred dilution ratio.…..

The recommended dilution is 40ml / 11.35 liters (3 Gallons) of water.

Bucket varies. A simple and practical way is to fill the bucket with a water bottle of 1 liter and check how many bottles it takes to fill the bucket. I use 50ml in 10 liters of water.

Hi Doc, somewhere in your post I read your first preference is MF towel over Jopasu duster to clean dry car first, may I know what is the reason preferring MF Towel over Jopasu duster. There are conflicting reports on washing the Jopasu duster. Can we wash it if so how often-suryaputhra
Great work and results. Congrats. Please ensure that the Maruthi ASS people should not degrade all your hard work during next regular service.

I prefer to dust out with a MF cloth first, to get more life for my Jopasu duster. Anyway, car swirls are inevitable if not protected by a good coat of wax.

As Jopasu is made out of paraffin wax soaked cotton/jute fibers. I tried to wash once with mild detergent and normal water (37c room temperature) but not happy. The thread shreds and become weak.

I would always prefer to go for a new one if needed after sometime, based on your car dusty nature and premises.

Hope, you read my article here:

PART: LXIII : JOPASU DUSTER IS DEBILITATING & DISAPPOINTING !

That looks strange, mine is a 1 ltr bottle and mentioned dilution ratio is different.

"Squeeze the desired amount of Ubershine (We recommend 1 level measure per bucket depending on size of vehicle) into 4 litres of ideally warm water and mix."

1 level means 40ml as per scale printed in the side of bottle.

Now its confusing to understand which dilution ratio is correct. [confused]

Thanks Doc, because of you and other fellow members support I have achieved the goal. Now I am in the mood of preserving that hard work. It is the reason I am looking for good duster and good wash and wax shampoo

"Please ensure that the Maruthi ASS people should not degrade all your hard work during next regular service." That they always do.

But I do not have that danger, Being Mechanical engineer and MASS senior Mech in hands we are doing regular service at home, I have full equipment including Wheel alignment and balancing.

How about below product to bring back life of jopasu duster.

You never go wrong.

I understand now that there is old and new formula (like Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine (ONR) new formula)

Mine is old formula, dilution ratio is different, stopped production during 2012. Yours must be the new formula, being produced from 2013 to present.

We get in INDIA only the PRC (CHINA) make.

Hi Suryaputra,

Refer my post no. 163 on duster rejuvenator. There is a word file also from the manufacturer. If you have any doubt I can check with the manufacturer directly.

I would prefer to use duster and not MF since with duster you will just brush it over the panels without actually rubbing on it. Other case, MF will come in contact with the panels way more than duster and MF does not pick up dust. Anyways, now there is rejuvenator so we don't have to worry about the life of the duster.

Hi KK, That's what, I want to prefer jopasu duster. I have ordered both. I hope This is the best solution for cleaning daily commute dust. See the below images taken today's holiday trip You can see flying birds reflected on the bonnet in the fourth picture. Hi friends by the way how do safely clean sealants and waxes struck between name plates like in the last pictures.

If I could recall correctly, my first bottle had 2012 date of import label but I didn't look for location of make. The front design (Text uber shine luxury car shampoo) is same as you have mentioned as old formula.

May be the one you have is made for America and the one I have is for international supply.

Anyway, I always felt too concentrated when 40ml is mixed into 4 liters of water so now-on I will follow yours instead. 40-50ml into 10 liters of water. [:)]

@Suryaputhra

I'm curious to know about those three round dots of black color vinyl on the front hood.

Btw; You have maintained your vehicle very well. Kudos for your efforts. [clap]

I would use IPA (Isopropyl alcohol) and earbuds but only for painted and metal surfaces. For plastics and rubber parts, I use TTD instead.

can anyone get me autoglym SRP and Extra Gloss, the Indian distributor is not responding?
Did you contact Ashwin on 9820006062? He heads Autoglym in India. I had contacted him last month and he had even agreed to deliver SRP at Bangalore, but there was a change of my plan and did not contact him again.

I suggest, treat your glass with Proklear Nano which is a rain repellant and also reduces the relflrction of head lights and then use Proklear WWC as regular glass cleaner. WWC also is a windshield shampoo.

I have done both the above and result is excellent. You will just love it.

Edit: There is a separate thread on Proklear Nano you can search.

Looks like you need it badly. [:D]

I would suggest to do Proklear NSG treatment first and then use any good glass cleaner. Not those that are made for household glasses though.

Proklear WWC is good for glass cleaning as well as a windshield shampoo. Meguiars, Sonax, Armor all, 3m are also good makers but will be pre-concentrated.
