I have used 3M Perfect-It and 3M Finesse-It compounds and they both work pretty well.

3M Perfect-It is least aggressive and 3M Finesse-It is most aggressive. If you use 3M Finesse-It then you have to follow up with 3M Perfect-It. Finesse-It takes off paint quickly so you have to use carefully. Finally finish off with some polishing products. E.g Meguiar's Ultimate Polish, Mothers Pure Polish.

If you want premium products, then I'ed recommend Meguiars Scratch X 2.0.

I am srinivas from Andhra Pradesh.I have been using Wurth Gloss Seal for my santro as sealant from last five years,it lasts nearly for 1 year.Wurth gloss seal bottle is finished,so I tried to buy where I bought last time,but person who sold last time is not available.so plz can any1 give me any contact number or address who sell Wurth Gloss Seal.I tried many products,but I am not satisfied.so plz help me

Thank you for your reply sir.There are many negative reviews about industrybuying website,but I will try with COD. Thank you. Sir my car has some oxidation,I want to clay it, but in my city car care people atleast dont know what is claying and how it is done.I also cant do it.so I am thinking of using Meguiars ultimate compound first to remove oxidation, then use Meguiars ultimate polish to polish and finally with wurth gloss seal. MY QUESTION IS. -- IS IT OK TO REMOVE OXIDATION WITH MEGUIARS ULTIMATE COMPOUND. I know I will loose some paint but there is no person in my city who can clay my car.plz guide me sir

Please read the product description before evaluating the Paint Surface:

“Before applying Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to a vehicle, it is recommended to begin by washing and drying a car thoroughly, as it will allow evaluating the surface of a vehicle for the presence of various defects needing correction.

Defects fall into two basic categories, above surface contaminants and below surface defects. Above surface bonded contaminants include industrial fall out, paint overspray, tree sap mist, and bird droppings. Below surface defects include fine scratches, swirl marks, etching, and oxidation.

Above surface bonded contaminants often cannot be seen but they can be felt. Running a clean hand over the paint of a vehicle immediately after washing and drying it. If a paint surface is rough to the touch, this is an indication that the car will need to be clayed using Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay Kit first (sold separately).

Below surface defects generally cannot be felt, but they can be seen, especially in strong, direct light. Good lighting is critical to evaluating the surface of the paint, because most cars will look good in the shade; therefore it's recommended to inspect the car's finish in direct sunlight or under strong fluorescent lights. Cobweb or spider web swirls come primarily from the washing and drying process when poor technique or tools are used; for example, the use of old towels, dishwashing detergents, coarse sponges, and so on. Holograms however, are a specific type of defect caused by the improper use of a high speed rotary buffer. These types of defects not only mar the finish but reduce the paint’s ability to reflect light clearly and cleanly, making the paint appear dull, faded and washed out. Removing below surface defects like light scratches, swirls, oxidation and bird dropping etching restores the clarity and reflectivity of the paint, making colors more vibrant and reflections more brilliant.”

BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF MICRO FIBER CLOTH

The most important must have make a lot of confusion while choosing the best for your car cleaning …….Which is good for polishing or which one has a better drying property? Will it scratch or create swirl mark? Which one is good-Indian or Imported?

So many doubts will flow ...

Its simple!

Choose one for dusting out which should be a larger and of thinner type like a vest cloth.

Choose the one for polishing which is meant for glass cleaning

Choose the one for drying during car wash which is of thicker GSM.

One interesting information about MF CLOTH from internet, I want to share with you for better understanding:

A good rule of thumb in MF towels for general detailing is as follows:

1. Towel density is very very important in a MF towel. Density is a measure of fibers per square inch of fabric. The range for quality microfiber is 120,000 to 250,000 fibers per square inch. In generally speaking, the higher the fiber count it has, the better the towel will work for you.

2. The ratio of the polyester and polymide blend is important. While 80% polyester and 20% polymide is typical as always, but a 70/30 blend will absorb water faster for you. As polymide is much more expensive than polyester, so you can expect to pay more for 70/30 towels these days, but with new ways their made the price is going down fast.

3. Make sure you look at the weave and thickness of the towel. Depending on the task the cloth is designed to perform for you.

4. The quality construction is not always obvious, here are some observations. The biggest complaint from folks with microfiber is that the towels with cheap edging will scratch your paint. There are some reasons First, off the factory uses a hot wire system to cut their towels and if not properly adjusted, or if a cheap machine is used, the hot wire will melt the fabric, they turn into a type of hard plastic! The second complaint is that the towel creates excessive lint. Microfiber lint is caused by towels with a high pile or a weave using a fiber split that's inappropriate for the use it was intended for (shortcut made). The high pile or loose weave allow the fibers to break off, creating lint. The same split fiber used in a towel with a higher fabric density will lint less or not at all. Don't always assume that a MF towel that does not lint is a high quality towel. Some of these cheapest towels don't lint because they do not have split fibers or their getting better made at the source.

So select you towels (as looking for some), by asking questions to other folks ( also detailers ) who have got them and ask them if they lint or have hard edges on them, and if they perform the way your looking for.

I would advise you to go for any one and you can try later the other one.. Buy a small bottle and understand how well it is effective with your water quality.

You are right. It seems that the have discontinued Indian sales. We bought from ebay.in
Since you are in Bangalore, it is presently available only there. Please refer the link. Avoid online deal, if possible personally go and get it. Their listing is not in a professional way.

A VERY GOOD NEWS FOR ALL JOPASU DUSTER LOVERS

I bought my duster 3 months back and now its already full black after using it almost daily and didn't wanted to wash it since I had read that washing the duster can make it useless as it will not pick up any dust.

So, last week in my my idle time, called the Jopasu Company to check on the Duster Rejuvenator which has been in the news / making for last one year atleast.

The company person I spoke to was very courteous and answered my questions on the call patiently and also gave a very good news that the Duster Rejuvenator is finally out in the market (two weeks back) after lots of testing etc.

Glad to know that you have got it. You are lucky I would say because me too couldn't find stock anywhere in online stores.

However, I already had 1 ltr stock with me and I have opened it last week and it will serve me for a year.

You have got a fresh bottle right? May I know the date of manufacture? If its really new then its good to know that the product is still available. [:)]

BTW; can do me a favor? Ask that dealer if he has Muc-Off Split Second Detailer Wax. 1 ltr or 500 ml. I doubt he will have it but if does then it be great.
