Folks from Chevy Singapore, India and I guess China were present there but had no interaction with the reviewers. All interactions were done by the independent market research company.

Nice review, So how do you summaries comparing it with Eartiga , Xylo - or any other model?
Thanks Iron Rock and Surfer.

Comparing Xylo: Xylo to me is an SUV with an MUVish hood that makes it look like a cargo hauling, people carrier utility vehicle and hence the general tendency to compare Xylo with Innova. Enter the Xylo and it no way looks like a UV with no frills and thrills but rather an SUV, with a good amount of ground clearance, butch feel to it, all luxuries inside and plush interiors and comfortable seats. Ride quality is on the negative but then I wonder SUVs (on ladder frame chassis) don't really offer good ride quality do they? Its a full grown vehicle unlike the new kid Enjoy which is 7 seater per se, but then you will wonder where to put in your luggage when all 7 seats are occupied.

Enjoy is a compact UV carrier best suited to small families, and can seat only 4 adults. Its looks are similar to those 1980-90's van models of Dodge, Ford and Chevy. I do however say that it will find buyers in the market provided the pricing is alluring.

Enjoy can be best compared to Ertiga since this is the only compact UV that we have in India currently, along with the Eeco, which is more of a commercial vehicle rather than one for personal use. Dimensions wise, Ertiga and Enjoy are similar. But, Ertiga wins, in all aspects; more contemporary and pleasing design, nice interiors barring that beige color steering, compfrtable and cushioned seats. The second row in Ertiga although is a bench and not captain seats like Enjoy are comfortable too. The seat fabric looks good quality too.

I don't see any positive in the Enjoy when I compare it with other vehicles, and since Ertiga should fall in the same category as Enjoy price, engine, and dimension wise, I see no reason as to why one would opt for the dated Enjoy, intelligent pricing can be the only savior and a nice and pleasing interior package.

However, like I mentioned before, if Enjoy is to be launched wih that nice interior avatar, Chevy should be optimistic for high sales, since outside looks generally grows on an individual gradually, read Swift, Dzire, Sunny, Micra. When the interior and engine package offered is sweet, customers generally tend to forego the outside looks is what I have noticed with junta.

As if Chevy has launched Enjoy considering Maxindra maxo, Tata Ace or Tata Winger as main competitors. I don't know why GM is considering that Indian will compromise on quality. They should work on their R&D and should launch something which should match taste of India. India is not a market which should be taken for granted.Mahindra is still testing Mini Xylo and hope once they will launch it should be hit. Hyundai, Mahindra and Maruti have got proper nerve of Indian mentality.
Many cars have been launched in India with a bang and get disappeared in couple of years. Still Maruti Swift sale is ahead of many companies total sale volume.

The Chevy sedan looks egjactly like one of the cheap Saturns available in the US. I hope I'm wrong on this though.

Also folks, don't miss out the rear bumper on the Enjoy!

None of the test mules have alloys, these are entry level models.

If Enjoy is similar to Tavera platform then it may be a competant vehicle - having driven Tavera for sometime, I felt it was competant to do the job well - nothing fancy to be expected though.

Enjoy does have a boxy look - maybe its to accomodate 7 seats and the headroom, safety features and decently loaded top end may make its own small mark in the Xylo/Innova segment.
