I got confused and thought that one is Chevy van and other is mini xylo.

GM is testing two cars: One MPV and other VAN.
I spotted both of them parked at a hotel in Ahmedbagar with Gujarat Registration.

Update Chevy's MPV will be released by Mid 2012 and wil be introduced initially with a petrol engine making power output of 94PS and the introduction with diesel engine would follow up later.

Being Chinese vehicle, I hope this vehicle reaches the place in one piece. Else, the bonnet will arrive first & the boot will arrive after 10-15 mins .

Bad idea. Get a diesel and sell like hot cakes. A petrol heart would help only if this MUV is priced in the segment of Maruti Eeco which looks highly unlikely.

I can clearly see 2 different vehicles. Check out the body lines and length of the nose. One is 'Chevy MPV' which they have exhibited on the expo. Hope the other one is 'Sunshine' with the sliding door. IMO both are Wuling made stuffs which will be branded here as Chevy.

Bad idea. Get a diesel and sell like hot cakes.

The diesel version will make entry only at the year-end.The prices ranges from 6-8 lakhs for petrol one.

I guess Chinese MPV's might be competitive if they can overcome the Chinese= unreliable mindset. I do understand why this exists, but as far as I know the Chinese companies do make some decent cars. Hope this is one of them

Pricing will definetely do the trick despite the fact that it's chinese or not.
Time will only answer. All we can do now is to wait for the release.

Releasing the petrol initially would be a real bad idea. Diesel one with right pricing will do lot more better.
