Ertiga Mileage Details By All Ertiga Owners!

VDI - Total 416 Kms of City Driving gave me F/E of 14.50 Km/Ltr with Ac On all the time

I have Ertiga Vxi Green, Just 950 KM done, i drive in city and i am getting avg. of 12.9 to 13.1 KM/Ltrs on display console on petrol mode,although i maintain my revv under 2500 rpm.My first servicing is also done at 550 KMS.My (solo) daily travelling is 25 Kms in city, sometimes AC sometimes only fan at speed of 1-2.
Is this avg. figures are too low?

The Average shown while on petrol mode is good,your mileage will increase 2000kms,and after 3000kms it will be much better.Have patience.14/15 kmpl is best mileage you can achieve in petrol ertiga.

Ertiga ZXI and it is 6 months old. Odometer - 4658 kms.

City driving with A/C on all the time and max. 2 or 3 people - Avg: 12 km/L using full tank method.

Recent Weekend Trip: Chennai - Pichavaram - Sirkazhi - Pondicherry - Chennai

- Total Distance - 540 kms
- 3 adults and 2 duffle bags
- A/C Full time on
- About 500 kms on highway roads with avg speed of 90 km/hr
- Mileage 16.3 km/L

Total KMs logged: ~6000

Total Ave full efficiency (MID): 18.9 kmpl

AC usage: 50 %

Driving style: Sedate driving- average 80-90 speed @ 2000-2500 RPM

Long drive experience: Went for a 1100 KM family trip to south. LUV gave 21 kmpl average with same driving style.

Service: First two free servicing are done.

Nowadays My Ertiga Vxi Green manages to give me mileage of minimum 15 km/ltr in City driving. On Highway (Pune - Kolhapur - Pune) it touches at 20 km/ltr with AC ON Fan speed at 2 and 4 Adults and 1 Kid with luggage. All this on Petrol Mode .
Total vehicle run is 7900 kms and serviced just 2 times till date.

The highest I have achieved in my LUV is 399 kms in 19.5 liters of diesel!
That is 20.4 kmpl as average figure. With 4 people and full luggage and AC 100% on. Constant speed 80 kmph at 2000rpm.
Type-R bro, the figures will increase after every service. Also sedate driving will give better mileage. Shift up at 2000rpm and maintain constant 80 kmph on highways, at 2000rpm, just where the turbo starts to kick in.

Reset the overall average figure to 0 when going for refuel.

had reset it once and it reached 16-17 with my driving. but when driver started driving again it fell to 12.5-13. given for first servicing today. will monitor over the few days.

I guess its something like what you can observe in Honda City(its expert in that) that whenever you leave the gas, it displays 40 kmpl straight!

I got this figures in petrol mode (No CNG gas). Today i again reset my MDI and got 25 kmpl with sedate driving style.Guys Correct me if i am wrong.

My Ertiga Vxi CNG (Limited Edition) gives following mileage -
CNG Mode:
1) 22 to 23 km/kg (City Driving mixed with mild traffic & eastern freeway drive)
2) 25 km/kg (Highway Driving - Mumbai Pune Expressway & other NH highways)
Petrol Mode:
1) 15 km/ltr (City Driving)
2) 17 km/ltr (Highway Driving)


My driving style is sedate. Never exceed 80 km/hr in City driving & 110 km/hr in Highway driving. In city, I drive alone to & fro my ofc that is 65 km/day. On Highways, most of the time with my immediate family (wife & son) & occasionally with my bro's family (5 adults + 3 kids).
Total kms run - 4200 in 2 months.

In punto,MID show 50kmpl, whenever you release the accelerator or drive in neutral. If you slightly touch the accelerator in 5th gear it straightly go to 30kmpl.
