Hello Guys,

Sorry For my late entry but i just bought my New Ertiga ZDi+ SHVS Granite Grey, And Drove 2,500Km So far, And Am getting 19.5-20.0Kmpl In City (Mainly Because of SHVS) And on Highways so far got 21.5Kmpl Really didn't went on a proper highway journey but soon on april going on a trip to hubli So will Update soon, On hills got 18.0Kmpl Constant on climbing.

Our family Ertiga VDI gives a mileage of around 15-15.5 in city driving, which I consider quite impressive. I haven't recently checked the mileage on highway since I've only used my Celerio recently when going with my wife on long drives.

My Ertiga ZDI ( SHVS) is giving me 16.9 MID display after 610 km on odo. 100% AC with say 100% semi traffic conditions.
It would be too early for me to comment on the FE, however very satisfied with the driving comfort though

My Ertiga ZDi has completed 85k kms in 2 and half years. Constantly I am getting 15-15.5 kmpl in city. That too my clutch is almost gone now. Hoping it to improve once clutch is changed.

Ertiga VXi (Petrol) FE

Hey Guys
I used to own Scorpio since 2007 and recently bought Ertiga VXi Petrol (last week) but i noticed i'm getting very low FE, about 7-8 Km/ltr

Is this normal for new car? will it improve over time ?

Congratulations on for the new Ertiga. The FE seems to be pretty low.Was it in heavy traffic.

I'm an Ertiga(Diesel) owner. The mileage of the Ertiga depends on passengers traveling in the car and area of driving(Hill/Highway/Streets). With my own independent experience, Ertiga delivers 20 to 24 km/l(Diesel) on the city roads.

Wow 20 - 24 is just amazing. Mine is hovering around 17 - 19. Just completed 5 K .. Hope it improves with time.

I used to get constant 15-16 in city including notorious delhi-gurgaon traffic 5 days a week. But in last 5-7K kms, Fe has dropped to 13-13.5 in city driving. Highways I used to get 18-19 now reduced to 16 or so... I hope it comes back to the usual figures.

Car is at 92k kms.

Mine averages around 17 to 17.5 kmpl over 80,000 kms in a mix of highway (60%), moderate traffic (25%), bumper to bumper (15%) - which is very good for a seven seater. Below are my best mileage figures in different driving conditions:

Highways - sedate driving - 80 to 100 kmph: 20 kmpl
Highways - spirited driving - 100 to 120 kmph: 17 kmpl
State Highways - sedate driving - 60 to 80 kmph: 25 kmpl

In conclusion - all the numbers ranging between 17 kmpl to 25 kmpl are possible in same car with same driver in different driving conditions.

Mine is Ertiga VDI SHVS now @ 10k ODO and nearing 1 year in October. Right now I'm getting 15 kmpl in City and 19 kmpl on long routes. Once I'd got 27 kmpl on straight highway. Here in Kerala we don't have much straight highways. On ghats I got only 13 kmpl.

i have a ertiga . But for the first time i have started a long journey from trivandrum to Thirissur . Approximately 300 km; During the journey i feel back pain . Can you tell me whether this is one of the regular issue for the long journey while travelling in Ertiga. I am 170 cm height .
My Ertiga is 2016 model vdi. Please tell me regarding this issue .

Do you have back pain or only experienced in this long trip? (I used to drive long trips but never experienced back pain).

It cannot be the reason of your car. May be you can adjust your sitting position or give some back support like keeping a pillow to support your back..

I have a Toyota Qualis usually we done the long trip in Qualis . But when we tried in ertiga , I feel back pain and overall pain in the body. Also i does not have back pain while i was in Qualis for the long journey. Also i am not driving the vehicle . I sat on the 2nd row seat and third row seat .
