Thanks Sethu. Rear fog lamps will surely look better in your sparky.
Hey friend, I was having a doubt about the provision for rear fogs in rear bumper of type-2 sparky. I wanted to know does it has provision for fog or since they blocked the hold the provision also would have got removed.

Yesterday I checked the inside of rear bumper and I found the provision for screws to hold fog lamps. I think just removing the round plate I should be able to fix rear fogs. I should check with Service guys in my next visit. Since I have reverse camera already, this would add clear visibility in nights in screen. as of now the stock reverse is not providing good lighting.

Yesterday I had to go with my freind to Kun Hyndai service center in adayar. Just I was going thru the show case and I found a product for first time. It is a OVRM cover with LEDs on it. Just we need to stick it in rear OVRMs. It can suit for Santro and I10 and the cost was Rs. 905 [ Forgot to check whether the price is for pair or single assuming it should be for a pair]

I think this is simple, effective and cheap option for OVRM with LED. I think we go for propoer OVRM with LED it is costing around 3k to 4k, at least for Sparky.

We should find is there any option for sparky.

Friends, you can share this with santro / i10 freinds and they can use this option.

Guys

One Touch Car Roof 3 LED Light also looks simple. No wiring nothing. Just fix it and use it.

I am looking something for rear boot lighting. If I fix this there is a possibility of forgetting to switch off. Even if I forget [ Might happen occasionally] Since this runs on ordinary battery, I can change when ever required.

Pls suggest friends.

@Sethu: bought these off ebay. Terrible plastic quality but cant expect more at this price. 3 duracells last quite long. Take care that it does not fall from your hand. It will break easily, well mine did. Patched it up with feviwik and no problem after that.

Chayan, Great. Thanks for the info.

I am planning for boot light. Let me try. If it goes well I can even plan for one above rear seat which might be easy for rear seaters some time.

Should we have to fix it with screw or simply paste it? if it is pasting means does it paste well on roof material?

No, thats how it broke. the two side adhesive tape is not strong enough. But I think it will stick on clean flat painted metal surfaces.
K Thanks. Since I am planning for boot lighting it can get fixed in the parcel trey which is in wooden only.

And Chayan and freinds,

I have another doubt while going thru eBay. I found this LED logo and also find the message This Logo only suitable for vehicle trunk or TAIL logo. Please don't try installing it in the front of your car! at the bottom.

  • Why it should not be fixed in the front?
  • what is vehicle trunk?

Has anyone used after market arm between front seats?
Is that comfortable. I actually used my cousin's Octavia where it has arm to rest your hands and I used to feel very comfort?
Will it be easy to use hand break? I don't remember that part in Octavio.

Sethu,

I am trying to install such arm rest which is very useful to rest our hand. as per the information on the forum, they say it will not disturb the hand brake in any way. So I am going to enquire in a local accessories shop and get it done.

I am little against to buying the things online, because if something is not intact once receive it is hell lot of headache for a replacement and also for fitment we need to visited a shop again, so i always browse on the net and try and get such item in the local shops[:)]

That is good that you too wanted to fix it. I don't mind buying something upto Rs.500 on net. i would say for me 80-20 is success-failure rate.

Note : Pls check my Avatar.[embarass]
