Ran out money after getting 4 tubless bridgestones So just tyres and nitrogen

I have enquired my mechanic for installing booster brake in my 1997 maruti 800. He say yes it is possible but a plate is needed for installing master cylinder. Is it true.

What plate ? It is a direct fit no need of any modifications..

In carb 800, even there is no need to drill a hole for tapping the vacuum for the brake booster..

Mechanics are really lazy and they make excuses and tell stories either to delay the work or extort more money from you.

No plate is needed.

I have the same kit installed on my '97 800.

It is a direct fit, no drilling holes etc. I suggest try with a different mechanic :)

I guess this is not available online, why not check with your local dealer if he could get one for you. You can ask for 5 speed mpfi 800's booster.

I managed to find the booster but it's the MGP one so only the booster is there. I guess I have get the brass joints and stuff made in a lathe shop. I'll let you guys know when the things are done. Thanks for the support.

No issues, you need only the T joint and a pipe(rubber hose). Nothing much required.

That T joint Is hard to find.Did you atleast get a proper vacuum pipe with the booster?

If you have not purchased the booster it would be good to ask car part dealers for a KBX kit.That would be the better option.
