Battle of the Entry Level UVs: Sumo Gold vs Bolero

I have always liked the sumo, that apart before I booked my car I spoke with three people (one from kerala, kayamkulam)

All these three own tata vehicles and one of them multiple. Each of them own the vehicle in excess of four to five years. all of them are happy with the vehicles as well as interaction with tata

Yes, that is what the poll on this thread reflects, as you can see who like Bolero and Sumo. Yes there is a difference in percentage, but this thread never says who is the winner, so it is simple that if I like Bolero, then I will vote for it and mention that what is it I like in Bolero, but I refrain my self why Sumo is not good. Similarly a person like Sumo Gold then he will say why it is so, that's it and I don't think we should bring in the sales numbers of these vehicles and maintenance issues also because we cannot always refer our old experience of said company vehicle and attach the same to a new model and also such thing will never help but the discussion will go quite OT. Thank you for understanding !!

I dont know how can you trust bolero when it comes to comfort and ride quality, similar to you perception on tata sales, no question on my view right,
you must agreethat bolero sucks in ride and comfort as compared to sumo gold right !!!!!!

What to do, blame it on TATA dealer, I tried twice but vehicle was not available and I am really not able to go there these days due to hectic work. At times I always feel it is easy for me to take any TD outside Hyderabad as I finish my days meetings and become free by evening. For Storm too, still there is no news of TD vehicle with Tejaswi motors and funny thing is they have already sold 5 Storm without TD and 15 under booking

you must agreethat bolero sucks in ride and comfort as compared to sumo gold right !!!!!!

As a jeep lover i like that ride as i like scorpio (100% drivers car not on comfort)

Nothing like that buddy, see I like Sumo Gold, but voted for Bolero as I drove it for a long period and felt a real rugged work horse, but space wise(rear seats only) felt cramped. So how I look like now a TATA lover or Mahindra lover

Stick to what you feel is good is not wrong, but others also do the same my friend

Buddy, some people have trust on this forum too, they are going to buy a product on discussions and suggestion made on this forum so i think all points are to be dicussed.

It will take time for TATA to win hearts of people because of the flops they produced on their budding stage.

we people happened to be a buyer at that stage and even if they produce GOLD or PLATINUM on Sumo. it is difficult to convince us as we had studied to stay out of TATA with our experience and are not afraid of commenting anything on tata.

IF you refer my post #474, you'll see, this is exactly why Bolero sells more.

NO matter what we say, somewhere deep down we are forced to decide on things purely on emotions.

Waiting for TATA to launch a better reliable new product apart from this face lifts as tata have the capability of doing so with a bag full of technology, which they are afraid of now

I know this posts will not make tata do it but i Strongly feel that they are capable of doing it,and i am waiting to experience it.

Safari STORME , Vista sedan class, Manza, Xenon and Gold all are reliable
